Quality and innovative water filter
The catchment area for our private water supply filters through extensive peat hillsides and results in high amounts of particulates and quite strong tannin colouration. The high particulate levels mean that we have to change our 30 micron and 5 micron disposable every month or so. This is rather costly. So we decided to try adding a 50 micron iSpring spin down filter to "protect" the next stage filters from getting clogged too quickly. We bought the iSpring WSP50ARB Spin Down Sediment Water Filter in Nov 22 and it has now been operational for a few weeks. Pros: Excellent quality, great innovation, superb customer service (Canada to Scotland). Very easy to install (although NPT threaded connections aren't quite as common in the UK). The digital control unit is very straightforward to set-up, and the automatic spin down operation easily cleans the sediment that is collected by the filter. It is a bit too soon to judge how well it protects the next stage of filtering. But, nonetheless, I would wholeheartedly recommend it! Cons: absolutely none. Please note: the iSpring WSP50ARB Spin Down Sediment Water Filter is not designed to remove tannin colouration from water supplies. I have to employ an additional filtration stage to need this requirement.

Quality product
Excellent quality product. Superbly packaged and includes everything you need to install and service. My water softener failed due to excess chlorine in the water supply, which caused the resin to expand and get into the household water pipes, severely reducing the water flow. Therefore, after repairing the water softener and clearing the pipes I decided to fit this filter immediately after the water softener so that, if it failed again, this filter would trap it and I could see there was a problem, before it blocked the pipes. I was a little worried that fitting this filter would reduce the water pressure/flow rate at the taps, however I cannot detect any reduction. The only slight problem is that the support bracket could be improved so as to retain the filter rather than it just rest on the bracket, this would be particularly useful when using flexible pipes for the connections. I had to modify the bracket to overcome this. This is the only reason I have not given 5 stars.

Very important to check compatibility of thread sizes.
I think this may come with NPT threads and not BSP? From what I've read, the two are very similar and will screw together, but are not identical and may not form a good seal under pressure. Having said that , I got it to make a good watertight seal with BSP at mains water pressure with some (potable quality) plumbers mate and fibre washers. Apart from that, a marvellous product. Perfect.

Does the job but pressure gauge useless
The pressure gauge leaked, but I removed it and blanked out the hole for it. I use this for filtering rain water coming into the house from a pump in a tank outside and regulated the pressure by observing the flow rate at the rain water tap. With a course and finer basket filters on the rain water pipes to the tank, this is perfect for the final filter before supply to the toilet cisterns, rain water tap and washing machine. Easy to flush and removable filter bowl useful if a more thorough clean is necessary. Only 3 stars because the pressure gauge was useless

Solved my sandy well problem
After 2 years of constantly having my sprinkler system malfunction due to the DEPURA filter I previously had installed getting clogged and needing constant cleaning and changing (those cartriges needed replacing every month or so), I was almost thinking of drilling a new well, was getting out of ideas. I have finally solved my problem with this filter. Have installed the iSpring WSP50ARB for over a week now and it's been working magic. I've set it to drain every day (since my well is so sandy it gets clogged almost everyday) and connected the drain hose to my local drain pipe so I basically don't need to do anything anymore. Customer support was amazing, I spoke with Francis from Ispring and asked them if I could also buy a 100 microns filter because the 50microns filter is clogging faster, and they were amazingly nice that they've sent it to my address at no charge (best customer support I've received on amazon so far). The filter in itself is rather easy to install, I'm no plumber but I've managed to install it myself. Highly recommed the product and the company

After years of replacing disposable filter cartridges every week and sometimes more often, we finally decided to try one of these spin down flushable filters. We were very impressed with the quality of the iSpring filter... straightforward installation and operation, and it works extremely well. A little too well in our case... we should have gone with the larger micron cartridge as it plugged up several times daily because of all the debris in our water supply. But we contacted customer service (US based, big thumbs up) and Julius was fantastic... they sent out the 100 micron replacement, even shipped free of charge to Canada. The larger micron cartridge works so much better for us. With the automatic flush set to once per day we have no more plugging. However, if you have a lot of debris or sediment I recommend going with the larger WSP-ARJ model which come with up to a 200 or even 500 micron cartridge. Spring and fall are worse times with our artesian well and we may need to do that yet. I wish we would have contacted iSpring beforehand and explained what we required, as I'm sure they would have advised us what was best. I must say there are not too many companies that impress me these days but this is definitely one of them. We may be expanding our water filtration system in the future and will not hesitate to buy from iSpring again, and of course highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product and service to back it up.

I bought the spin down filter and bought this so I’m ready when I need it. Appears well made just like the filter.
