Works as advertised. Would buy again. Best cane I have owned.

I was hesitant to spend $75 on a cane but was convinced by a review I had read on one of my Facebook groups. I went ahead and ordered the cane and am thrilled by what I got. This is one strong cane, even though it's a folding cane, it unfolds into a very solid cane, no rattles, no flexing like many folding canes do. The marshmallow tip rolls along smoothly, it's my favorite kind of tip and I was pleased to find it as the included tip on this cane. The coolest part is the handle that has a spring loaded mechanism that stops the cane from jabbing me in my stomach or ribs whenever I encounter something in my way. The handle compresses nicely and yet I still can feel my way very well. It is slightly thicker than my other canes but I quickly got used to it. The handle is a wonderful soft leather that is very comfortable to hold onto. This is my go to cane now and it feels like it will last many years.

My husband is blind but also power walks for miles - he has used aluminum canes in the past which when jabbed against uneven pavement areas, have caused enough pain in his shoulder where he had to get cortisone shots. THIS CANE PREVENTS THAT. It is pricey but it delivers on its promise. For those blind athletes who get a lot of cane time, this is the choice for you!

Be aware parts are glued together in a way that may not last more than a few months. It worked fine for a few months. The metal ring glued on to protect the end of the top section came unglued and slide up and down the section. Then the end of that section started to fray. After contacting the company and sending a photo, they gave me the following response. Despite this product page saying they warranty the entire cane for up to 1 year, that appears not to be their practice. It's a shame, because the functionality of the cane is great. Just a simple swap of the top section would remedy their defective glued ring I originally received. I recognize that I wrote to them just after the year had lapsed, despite the ring sliding happening prior to that.I expected it to at least hold together for a eyar, and it didn't do that."We have a guarantee against any manufacturing defects up to 90 days after the cane has been delivered and because they are a daily use item, we are not able to have an extended or limited warranty that could become wear and tear or misuse (not that we think you did the latter). We do encourage customers to let us know as soon as something happens with the canes so that any defects or manufacturers guarantee can be dealt with early into any issues."

I originally purchased this in November, as being poked in the abdomen when there's a cobblestone sidewalk is not preferable. Today, mine broke in between the "joints" of the cane when it was fully extended. This cane has been my daily driver (all day ever day use) since my purchase in November, and I have purchased another one today. It's definitely my favorite cane, it's lightweight and you can customize the tips. It also makes a really nice sound when you're opening it up to fully extend it.

I am a Seeing EyeDog user. I’m waiting for a new dog. The cane does everything as advertised.My anxiety levels were so high using a traditional white cane that I just didn’t want to go out. All of the bumping and being jarred into things has created such terrible anxiety that te cane has resolved immediately.I look forward to going out with this cane.Instead of experiencing sudden drop offs and jars that create fear and anxiety, it’s like touching things gently as I walk through my world. No more anxiety, no more herky-jerky stops and looking clumsy and off-balance because of being startled by my environment with this cane
