Great Replacement
Old one was leaking. Bought new one on Amazon and had pool company install it. Works great.

Should have bought an entire sand filter system instead
I have an old AquaTools AT3118 sand filter, but AquaTools is no longer in business. I have read online that this particular multiport is supposed to be compatible with the AT3118, but it is not. The central pipe inside the filter appears to have the exact same diameter as the opening at the bottom of this multiport. The multiport is supposed to fit *over* this pipe, and it very obviously won't. This has been a waste of time, and now I have to go through the hassle of returning it.

WILL NOT BACKWASH
I orderd the exact multiport system that was on my sandfilter. It will NOT BACKWASH! I had a pool company verify the problem. I ordered a Hayward but it does not fit my sand filter. So I am back to square one and need to reorder this part to hopefully get one that works properly!

We did not order off Amazon but had a pool store order, we wanted to make sure it worked. We'll we paid more. Got it installed and when we tried to back wash only alittle water came through, real you had to hold handle down to have normal flow of water come out.
