Co2 Laser Head Mounts + Mirrors & Lens for Engraver Cutter K40

its a good product but not the right one for my machine so had to send it back but no problems

The machine work on mine was fine. no real cleanup was needed. the lens and mirror are nice. The mounting bracket is incorrect for a k40. It is too long so the head will not align correctly with mirror #2. The mounting diameter is larger than stock, so you can't just use the stock head mount. To use this you need to open up the stock mount hole with a die grinder. Honesty in ads like this would go a long way in increasing sales for these companies instead of just trying to sell as many as possible with a dishonest ad.

I guess for the price it’s not bad but looks used. I would return it but I guess I’ll make due and polish the rough edges.

Honestly, I wouldn't have purchased this to USE for a number of reasons:- It's really long and I would have had to lower my table- The machine work is just as bad as the original piece of junk that came with the K40- Clunky looking and inelegant designI bought this because it was slightly cheaper than buying a new lens and mirror for the blue air assist head I got. The lens and mirror are PERFECT so I feel I got my money's worth.

Threads on locking but were stripped as well as threads on main head are partially stripped so next to impossible to install properly and keep tight and lined up

I tried replacing my existing setup that has air assist but this setup had many flaws. I wouldn't recommend.

Just got the Laser Head, there is not a Mirror Tension holder, nor is there a way to hold the Lens in place and there is not an air spout pipe! There is still metal shavings in the shaft where the mirror is supposed to go. I will have to tap an air pipe to make this work.

Ther Lens came with dark spots in is useless
