This umbrella completely covers my Shih Tzu. She had no reaction to having something over her. The chain is short to make sure the umbrella stays in place, but it would have helped to have a longer handle. Overall, it's a cool device that we'll get plenty of use from.

I actually think this is a super fun cute dog item for the pampered pet - it’s my second one since the first one broke. My husband won’t walk near me when I use it, however, but there are a lot of pampered dogs on the Upper Eaat Side of NYC!
