I purchased this right before going on vacation. I spent a lot of time in the pool and in the ocean and this swim cap stayed nicely in place. It was a little bit more than some of the others but I truly believe the price difference is worth it. My hair was braided in a protective style and the stretchability of this swim cap was amazing. My hair stayed dry and that was surprising given the fact that I stayed in the water nearly all day every day for a week. Get it, you won’t regret it!

I give it a 4, because I went under water, and my hair did get wet a little.

I love this cap because now I can go in the pool and not worry about my hair. It fits nice and snug around your face, but allows all of your hair to be covered and it’s very well-made.

I purchased this because I like to swim every day. Since I'm Puerto Rican, I have dry and curly hair and am not able to wash and style it every day; a swimming cap was a must-have. I liked a lot about this cap, the feel, the quality and the shape and room for long hair; however, it did not prevent water from getting in and wetting my hair. I kept going back to the photos and researched online to be sure I was applying correctly. It could be because of the size of my head, which I know is smaller than standard based on how much I need to adjust hats and ball caps, but I could not find a smaller size available for adults.

I let this cap sit for 2 months before using it as I was getting the last usage out of my old cap before giving this new one a go. I bought the cap because how many great reviews there are of it, but the cap DOES NOT SECURE WATER FROM GETTING IN. I am going on the 2nd week of wearing it. I wear it for swimming laps for exercise. I have short curly hair and every single time I use it (even when I try putting the cap over my ears). My hair always is wet when I take it off.

My wife is taking swimming lessons. Yay.... She needs to protect her hair as best she can. This cap is doing a great job. It still gets wet around the edges. But, that's to be expected. Overall, she still has a pretty dry head, after two hours of swim lessons. Good deal. The included ear plugs and nose clip are a great help for those that are still afraid of being submerged or panic when water gets in their ears or nose. But, eventually, those things SHOULD become unnecessary. Good purchase.
