Most definitely NOT GLASS
Bought this for a Xmas gift, I was definitely expecting glass. Probably my fault for not scrolling all the way down and reading the description, but it said “the glass” in the title so I foolishly assumed it was glass. Honestly, for $30, I definitely expected it to be glass. It feels super cheap so I’m kind of embarrassed to give it now.....definitely NOT worth the $30 price tag!

A CUP FOR CHAMPIONS
When my Penguins won last year I was ecstatic. I went out, bought some memorabilia and was happy. I told myself if we got the repeat, I'd go out and buy a jersey. But! I saw this very mug on the Edmonton Oilers Instagram and knew I had to have one. As adidas makes the switch to new jerseys, I bought this in celebration for cup #5.If you're on the fence about buying this, let me tell you, it's worth it. The case it comes in is very nice, inside is padded and the outside is very detailed with little stickers including some big time hockey towns. The cup itself is as they and the box describes "Break resistant and similar to 'the glass' at hockey arenas". I can concur, it's a very high quality plastic, very clean and no hard seams that would hint at cheap craftsmanship. Taking a drink from the cup after winning the finals on NHL 17 is rewarding enough!

It's plastic, not glass as advertised.
For the price I was definitely expecting glass. The advertising is very misleading as it describes the mug as "the glass" in the description and never discloses that it's plastic. This kind of tricky marketing is false by omission and an insult to the consumer.

Looks nice.. but it’s plastic
It’s fine as a gag gift I guess.. but I would have paid extra if it were glass

First off it’s plastic, I waited 10 days for a cheap plastic cup. You can go buy the same thing at any party store for $15.99. Second the handle is cheaply made and I will be impressed if it can handle 25oz of anything besides beer. It comes in a cardboard box that is tougher than the cup. Buyers Beware.

We WENT BLUES!!!
My favorite mug now!!! I'm transporting this in it's case (to ensure the bowl doesn't break as others have warned), and taking it with me everywhere now!!! It is my Party Mug! Edmundson, Blues player, used this mug to pour gravy into the real Stanley Cup, for Poutine in the bowl!!!!

A Great Mug That Will Get Attention
I must say I was impressed that it came in it's own case, with the padding to hold the mug in place. Now I know I can pack it safely when I move. The actual mug itself is great because it is made from the Plexiglas used for most hockey rinks, and resembles the actual Stanley Cup very well. There is a bit of an adjustment when actually drinking out of it; you can't just sip out of this like a regular cup. Then again, no one JUST regularly sips out of the Stanley Cup. It is bottom heavy, so you will have to tip higher to get some liquid. The hole in the top is small enough that it won't take regular ice cubes; the ice cylinders are the preferred way. Since the hole is small, cleaning this is a challenge. You don't want to trap a regular sponge in it, or you're screwed. Those things aside, most hockey fans will be satisfied to have this. I'm surprised this wasn't made sooner. Thumbs up.

Love this mug
Mug was awesome. I bought a few to give as presents once I received the first one. It is packed very well in a nice box. It is hard to clean, but worth the effort.
