I never got to see this version in my hands as I was living in PR and read the salamandra edition in spanish

If you are like me who cannot stand the sorcerer stone, because it is philosopher, this is the book for you. I have all the hardcover first American edition, this book is smaller than those, but it doesn’t bother me when I added it to my bookshelf.

So I like most of you probably reading this absolutely love the Harry Potter series. It is by far my favorite series of all time and I have done multiple read throughs. Being an American, I recently had a strong desire to collect some of the British versions of the books and stumbled across this one. I didn't even hesitate, clicked on the buy now button. I received this in the mail last night and to say I am blown away is an understatement. The cover and illustrations are so good. I spend 10 minutes just holding it and looking at it in awe. This will be sitting proudly on display on my bookshelf from now on. This is a must have for Potter fans!

I LOVE MY HARRY POTTER

This is a collector’s edition book. It has to come in mint condition but it came with a nick in the dust jacket which obviously was there prior to shipping. Not cool. The book itself is of course really nice. I don’t recommend getting it from amazon.

It’s fun with some extra content. It’s nothing much in my opinion though. But bought this version because it was cheaper. But many thumbs up!! 🙂 P.s the books is better than the movies, so I recommend to buy them. :)

Ich lese Harry Potter nicht zum ersten Mal, aber zum ersten Mal auf Englisch. Was kann ich sagen - Nostalgie pur! Das Buch ist auch für durchschnittliche Könner wirklich gut zu lesen. Es muss nicht jedes unbekannte Vokabel nachgeschlagen werden, da sich der Sinn durch das Lesen von selbst ergibt. Harry Potter verzaubert einfach. Lasst euch verzaubern. It's a kind of magic.

I read this book within 2 and a half weeks. I love the Harry Potter films so why not read the books.
