I live along a main road and spend a considerable amount of time picking up trash along a 2 mile stretch. This is the best tool I have found, by far! Others with crab-like pincher claws at the end break easily. This tool pulls heavy, wet trash from mud, branches, undergrowth and more with ease! Also effortlessly picks up smaller items like bottlecaps and cigarettes. So good I purchased a second for my partner. Sometimes I do get some hand fatigue from the constant squeezing motion, but worth it as they are still in one piece and working well after their first season (when others would break after 1 day).

great product! Perfect to keep in the garage to use for outside tasks.

Construction is a little light but seem to be holding up. The claws are the best tool ever for picking up twigs and sticks. Most other trash forks just slip off. I have a four acre yard and these are a treat.

Picked up a pair of these to help pick up gross litter around our neighborhood. So far, I'm quite satisfied. They're lightweight, the grip doesn't make your dominant hand ache, and the teeth at the end are very sharp and efficient. I've been able to pick up types of litter that my more simple pokey stick would have more issue with (ie smashed aluminum cans & cigarette butts). I would say this pair of tongs is better suited to trash-picking than a lot of other "grippers" out there that aren't specified for it. It's also pretty easy to clean and disinfect, as long as you're careful around the tong teeth. If there's any downsides, it's that being so lightweight, it probably can't lift a large amount of weight itself (I wouldn't try it). Trying to pick up "straight" things like sticks can also sometimes get the tongs tangled. If treated with care, I'm sure these will last a decent amount of time for average clean-up journeys.

I’m a groundskeeper at a large high school and use this outside all day long. It’s the best we’ve had, there will be no more squeeze handle types that after a couple months the springs or cable wears out. The large jaws enable you pick up several pieces of trash at one time. Also as video shows, it works wonderfully to pick up small objects such as coins. Try doing that with most of the pointy pincher types! Unless you’re trying to pick up something that weighs several pounds, this should be sufficient for most anyone.
