Works well on the grill as well as using them to protect drip trays on indoor ovens
I use these mats on the outdoor grill as well as a cover to protect the drip trays on my indoor ovens.On the outdoor grill, they keep the cooking grate in the grill clean and also help to evenly distribute the heat. They also prevent flareups caused by dripping grease and juices. In addition, they also prevent foods from falling through the BBQ grates onto the coals. This is particularly useful for hamburger the pieces sometime break off and for grilling smaller foods like veggies, shrimp, etc. When using them for grilling, they are very easy to clean. After they cool, I put them in warm soapy water, and everything just wipes off of them. So far, after using them on the grill, and cleaning them they look like new. The only downside I can think of is grease that cooks off of meat stays on the mats. So, for cooking some meats, they may be sitting in the grease and juices until they are cooked.I also cut a couple of these mats to size for my indoor ovens to protect the drip trays. I have both Ninja and NuWave ovens, and the drip tray deteriorate and stain over time if not protected. These mats protect the oven drip trays and are so much easier to clean - especially when grease and juices from foods drip onto the trays. After using the ovens, these mats need only to be wiped off with a little soapy water, and put back on the drip tray. They really help to prolong the life and keep the drip trays looking nice in addition to being easier to clean.Considering these uses and the savings of time to clean grill grates or drip trays, these grill mats are well worth the cost and I would highly recommend them.I hope this review was helpful for you. It is ok
It seems ok, but it burned my steaks on charcoal grill first time out, granted this was first time that I had used this item. But it seemed to be a lot hotter than grill. I removed it to finishing cooking but I will try it again, maybe it was my marinade or something but it burned one side of my steaks I normally cook I will try again with my gas grill on cheaper steak I normally fix for dogs this weekend...but at this point Bison and Kobe I would say not to grill with this, it basically seared it but couldn't tell until it was flipped that you had burned one side.....reduce cooking time or keep closer eye. I cook by time because I know all my grills and smokers...this seems to increase the heat for meats but I need to do more testing. Just when you start to use it, be wary and keep closer eye, cooks a lot faster, I just need to finish some testing and I will try to give you tests on x = y*edit* I just grilled more on it and it works great. Something to keep in mind is it does change heat a little because it spreads out the heat more evenly. Basically when you first cook with it, treat your grill like it is brand new. Watch how you cook and keep eye on temps.It works wonderfully once I figured out temp change. I bumped this to 4 stars once I got that figured out and 5 because company contacted me to offer to fix my previous problems that were my own making. They care enough to go extra mile, I think deserves the extra star.

Great BBQ mat, easy and fast clean
First, I love to grill food. I make grill chicken wings at home all the time. But those chicken oil will spit oil all over my oven and mess my bakeware. When I was enjoying my delicious chicken wings, I had a headache about cleaning the mess. These grill mats help me a lot. It comes 5 pics in a pack. One mat can fit 1-2 pics steaks. I grilled chicken wings for myself only, so one pic mat is good for me. I used a lot soy sauce to marinated the chicken wings overnight. So they look so juicy. I place them on the mat with some spaces. If you are have a lot of food you Don't need to make such more spaces will also cook well. I heated at 400 F for half hour, and they wre completely cook. So next time I will try 20 mins. As I said, 30 mins at 409 F was over cook. The wings looks little bit burning. You see these black stuff stick on the mat. That's the burning sauce and oil. If you are using a bake pan, these burnt stuff is hard to clean. However, I use the grill mat. I only put the drity mat in soap water for ten mins and rinse with water. And the mat completely clean like a new one. These mats can be use in home oven and outdoor BBQ which save a lot of cleaning time and keep your oven a clean place. I love it!

2 words: GRILLED FISH
I have purchased these mats at least 6 times because they are perfect for grilled fish! I would always mangle my fish on the grill before I found these and now, my fish has perfect grill marks and is cooked exactly the way I want on the grill. These mats do not make your food mushy (as you would think from a grill mat) and you can still see and taste grill attributes (char, even cooking, etc). I have used them for fish, shrimp, steaks, chicken and sausage on a propane grill.

GOOD GRILLE MAT :
This is a good Grille Mat that lasts about 2 months of weekly use. It is thin, but holds up well, as long as you don't cut with a knife while grilling. Easy to clean if you leave in sink ---- spray Dawn Detergent directly on the Mat, and let it sit overnight. Most of contents will come off with light scrubbing. Easier to clean than the Bars Of Your Grille ! Would Recommend !

Thinner than the other kind but work great.
Was a little hesitant and skeptical but pleasantly surprised. Were a lot thinner than the kind I bought my step father years ago. They are similar to those those plastic, roll-up cutting boards. I almost like it better than the "rubber" mat kind my step father has. They were real easy to cut. I sacrificed one and cut it to use in my counter top oven. I made fries and burgers with my counter top oven the day they were delivered. I baked the the fries first using the same time and temp but were not as crispy as when I use foil on the pan but they weren't bad. With some tweaking could be better. I broiled some pre packaged, unfrozen jalapeno/cheddar patties next. They came out great! Real easy to clean. The grease slid right off. The brush was a bonus and I didn't really care about it but this item was cheaper with the brush than similar without it. The brush is actually really nice. It's all silicone and feels good.
