So in a nutshell: Installation is very simple, it’s double insulated (so no earth), the batteries appear to be standard NiCad 1000mAh rechargeable AA batteries, mounting screws and rawlplugs are supplied, the ceiling housing is about 28.5cm by 4.5cm and the sign is about 19cm high and 30.5cm wide. You can adjust how far down the sign hangs easily using the inbuilt clamps. The sign should stay illuminated for at least three hours in the event of power failure. One thing I will mention is that the sign I was sent was a suspended sign, which is not quite exactly the same as the fixed one pictured in the listing. I did also notice a plug was detached from the circuit board (see video) - this will need to be connected for the battery backup to work.

A nice emergency exist sign. Quite standard looking. It comes with instruction manual. Quite easy to install as well and it does the job. A bit on the pricey side. Will need a drill of some sort to mount onto ceiling but it comes with nail plugs.

I needed a Fire Exit sign after a recent fire safety audit highlighted and exit in-between some racking that needed more prominence.This sign popped up on my Vine account so I thought it'd be worth giving it a try.I decided to mount it on a long metal bracket so it was visible beyond the racking, this was straight forward as the fixings for the light are for drilling into a roof/ceiling.The sign is light weight and is straight forward to wire up, the battery and light section separates from the pendant sign which is where the fixing holes and power terminals are found.Once the sign is fixed and powered up then the perspex pendant can be attached, the light then shines down through the perspex to illuminate the sign.Finally it is just a matter of putting the correct green/white graphic signs into the perspex pendant. The light fitting comes with an up arrow, a left arrow and a right arrow so placing the left and right arrows back to back allowed me to indicate a side entrance from both directions.Verdict: I found this exit sign easy to fit and it had good signage options. The sign can be seen from a good distance and the illumination is good in low light conditions. For well under £40 this is a competitively priced piece of safety equipment.

It measures about 33 cm x 23 cm x 4 cm which can be seen in 25 meters distance. It also has a transparent blade with an obscured central panel to prevent signs from being misread on the other side. In addition, it has 3hrs battery backup if the main supply of electricity is lost.I’m pleased by this emergency exit sign. The light is so bright and everyone can see it. It is very straightforward and serves its purpose. I also like that the manufacturer of this complies with the regulation in making emergency exit signs. It is very easy to install, and this feels heavy so I assume that the quality is great.All in all, I like this product and recommended it to everyone.

A solid and well made light. Well finished acrylic sign and a fairly bright light. Needs to be installed professionally as it must be wired in to the mains. Works well for a business environment.

Very easy to install emergency light with many arrow pieces provided. The light is good and illuminated the sign very well so it can be seen from a distance. The emergency sign is a reasonable sign and comes as described. Good product!

I installed this at the entrance to my workshop. When the lights get tripped, it's a nightmare trying to find the exit without tripping over something. This not only provides a battery-backed indication of the exit location - it provides just enough localised lighting to be able to move around without running into things. In my case, I connected it into the lighting circuit, but you can just as easily connect it into a permanently connected supply. You can either configure it always-on as I do, or you can configure it to only come on with battery backup in the event of power failure. You get three different display options - exit ahead, exit left or exit right.
