I have to buy another one.My daughter is now the owner of this one.It works so well, I gave it to her before she left town for home. So now I need another one for myself.

I wasn't going to leave a review but the company emailed me asking if I would. I ordered it because I eat alot of raw garlic trying to keep candida down and for other health reasons. I got tierd of chopping it into small pieces by hand so I ordered this. It presses it really good...iade some garlic mashed potato tonight. I usually have to roast them to get it mushy enough to blend with the potatoes but not this time I was able to keep the garlic raw. Well my opinion is for the price it's worth it and the box is very fancy that it comes in. It's a nice silky inside. I'm going to try my best to keep the box in great condition. I say but it.

This garlic press is made from nice heavy material, seems very strong. It comes in a beautiful box with a couple of bonus items as well. I use it pretty much every time I cook. I only gave it four stars because there are some narrow gaps in the crushing basket where the garlic skin (or whatever the part of the garlic that doesn't get crushed is called) gets caught. When I clean it I have to be extra careful in removing all garlic from the gaps or my kitchen drawer where I store it smells like garlic for days.Conclusion:Good strong press, not so easy to clean

I always thought a garlic press was sort of a gimick but I finally grabbed this one. LOVE the thing, use it every time I used to smush and fine chop garlic. I swear even the aroma in the pan as it sautes is better / stronger / more pure "garlicky" if there is such a thing.I can be a little bit annoying to clean, but it's never been *that* annoying that I haven't used it - it's my go to every time. I opt to poke at the holes / gaps with one of my dull non-serrated steak knives and that takes care of any bits that rinsing didn't.It has a nice heft and weight to it (feels like a real tool) but isn't cumbersome. Even the box it came in is this really awesome, sturdy magnetically sealing cardboard box that I still use to store it in. I rinse it and wash it in the dishwasher and there hasn't been a hint of tarnish. An easy purchase, definately NOT a gimick! Glad I finally bought one.

I usually don't write reviews, but this thing made me mad.When you press put the garlic in the basket and press down, half of the garlic goes up into the top area. After each press, I was having to clean that area out and ended up getting more garlic on the counter than into the bowl.And then when you go to clean it, the fact that the basket swings out makes it ten time harder to clean that a regular garlic press.This thing went straight into the trash.

Works well. I got it because my spouse was yelling at me for not hand washing our previous garlic press. This one is stainless steel and is therefore dishwasher washable. It is well built and, as advertised, cleans well in the dishwasher. Cleaning brush and peeler are great extras. It is impressively packaged for a great gift.

I enjoy this tool but you have to scrape out the inside after every garlic clove you press which is really annoying! I didn't find the roller very helpful in taking off the shell of the garlic cloves. It is nice and it comes with a brush for cleaning. It is also nice that it is dishwasher safe. Once again you have to scrape it out after every time you press a clove.

After having this about a month, I’ve decided that I really don’t like this product, and I wish I could return it but too much time has probably passed. I’ve used it three or four times, and each time it has been a PITA. To me,it’s over designed and definitely difficult to clean. The leverage is good and it does the job, but it’s a large, confusing contraption and there are much simpler products out there. Seems like it’s good quality, and the best part of the kit is the rubber tube to help that helps remove garlic skin. The little brush doesn’t do much. I don’t recommend even though the price is right.
