Versatile
Needed to update from an old1990's hub ,this runs from a usb c port and the speeds are excellent, and it leaves my usb ports free, currently its has 3 dries plugged in and they are all performing brilliantly, worth the money .

Overall nice, but does have limitations
This hub does a lot of things, but it does have a few things you should pay attention to, depending on your purposes. The dongle is fine, but you need a place for it to sit. It looks awkward hanging from the side of my laptop. If that bothers you, go for a hub that more securely attaches to your CPU (with no cord between the connectors and the hub unit). This hub, as advertised, is not powered. Thus, I am unable to run accessories that also need power supplied from my CPU by connecting them to the hub (in my case, a super disc drive). The hub is unable to supply sufficient power to the disc drive when it is connected. My external hard drive works fine through it, but that HD has a direct, independent power source. And finally, it does NOT allow for the use of RF device dongles in the USB-C ports (in my case, I wanted to run my wireless mouse through it). I didn't see that nugget in the specs listed here, but the tiny print on the booklet it came with does. Bummer, I didn't want to have to buy a new mouse, but such is life.

The hub is reasonably priced, and it is easy to use. It allowed me to use a computer monitor with my laptop computer.

Used for Chromecast TV 4K. Easy to install, and uses same Chromecast Charger and cord; no need to upgrade those. Goodbye buffering!!

Updated Review
Second update: Don't buy this piece of garbage. While the 3 ports did work on the replacement unit, I finally had the chance to try the ethernet port and surprise, surprise, it didn't work. I was also having trouble with my new MacBook Air constantly crashing and restarting. I was so disgusted with this dongle I bought a new one from j5Create. Lo and behold the computer has stopped crashing and is much happier. We think the new unit had an electrical short and the computer was restarting to protect itself. Anyway, both dongles are in the trash now. If I could give this thing negative 5 stars I would.Update: Vilcome sent me a replacement for this dongle and all 3 USB ports work as advertised. Apparently the unit I initially ordered was defective. Thanks to Vilcome for the quick response. I'm happy with the dongle now and have raised my rating to five stars because it is attractive and functions as intended, though it does get quite warm when in use.This is what it states in the description: "3*USB 3.0 ports provide super fast transfer speed up to 5Gbps." The unit has 3 ports but only two will transfer data. The third only provides power. Found this out when my mouse suddenly stopped working when I plugged it into the third port. The box it came in is generic and there is no logo on the unit itself. Don't know how reliable this company is, or if they even exist, but I'll never buy one of their products again.

It works in that it opens your files, but kills your SD cards.
I've had two SD cards completely nuked as a result of using this. It opens them up, so that's fine, but I'd recommend copying them over immediately otherwise you get a warning error that the files are corrupt and next thing you know, you're prompted with a message that says "you need to format this disk before you can use it". Lost a whole session of photos like this, so be wary when using it. So far it hasn't done anything like this with USB sticks or micro SD so I don't know what the issue is. Other than that, works fine.

Very versatile multi port adapter.
It's well made and accommodates a number of my external storage devices. An older SSD and a small Western Digital did not work because there isn't enough power as they worked when plugged directly into the computers USB ports. All that being said they are older devices!!! Glad I purchased this adaptor!!!

Calidad
Es un Hub de calidad, bonito y elegante, la única pega es que su cable es demasiado corto, bueno algo promedio ya tirando a largo unos 30 cm, de hecho si es largo no hay nada que pedirle a esos 30 cm, y aunque fuera más corto no habría de porque quitarle importancia, solo es cuestión de saberlo acomodar, y al fin y a cabo cumple su función de forma perfecta. 🫶🏻

大きさ、コードの長さ、反応、良いです。
色はシルバーですが、安っぽい色でなくて、カッコいいです。大きさは、手のひらよりも小さく、コードの長さもちょうど良いです。少し長いという方も居られるようですが、デスクトップで使用しているので、丁度良いです。カードリーダーもきちんと反応するし、かなり満足です。耐久性は、まだ届いたばかりなのでわかりません。

If at first you don't succeed!
Simple, streamlined, lightweight and versatile. I had issues with the ethernet port at first.... Issues being of the it didn't work variety. I then contacted the seller, had prompt responses, and had a replacement sent out within days. The replacement works perfectly fine. Stand up customer service, proper job!
