Great For Frothing Half and Half
My wife and I both like half and half in our morning coffee. Whipping it just makes it an even better experience. We have tried several different ways to whip the half and half but none of them even got close to this machine. We use half and half with 5 grams of fat per serving. I know some will cringe at that amount of fat, but I figure if you can't splurge a bit in the mornings why get out of bed. Anyway, the froth coming out of this machine is thick, rich and creamy. It is so thick it actually lasted overnight in the fridge and all we had to do was re-whip it in the morning. We did try whipping whole milk. The results were not as dramatic, but the milk was silkier and had some frothing. The whisk is not one of those with the spring wrapped around a plastic holder which inevitable stretches and no longer whips the liquid. The whisk is made of a solid piece plastic, and you receive two extra whips. The whip sits very loosely on the spindle which seems a bit strange, but I believe the whole system works using magnets. Lastly it is very quiet when running.

Gold standard of milk heater/frothers!
There are so many great features about this machine that I hardly know where to begin. The frothing cup is removable, and is held to the base by a magnet. You can put the frothing cup in the dishwasher! Once removed, the spinny things that froth the milk tuck into the bottom of the base via little magnetic slots made especially for them, ensuring you can't lose them. The cord is easy to manage. And it works like a dream! The only setting I haven't tried yet is the hot chocolate mode, but I love that it HAS this mode. I am really, really happy with it; all of the things that annoyed me about the frother this replaced have been addressed in such a great way. If you're on the fence, go for it!

Disappointing
We ordered and had to return this twice. The first time there was an issue with the electronic touch buttons on the base so we sent it in for an exchange of the exact same item. The new frother came very quickly, we were pleased about that, however, this just didn't froth! The base worked fine and it heated our milk nicely but there was no froth at all after multiple separate attempts. The little whisk attachment doesn't seem to move very fast. We use raw, fresh, whole cow's milk and have used a variety of frothers with this milk over the past 10 years: manual, battery operated hand held, and even a quick whip with a small wooden spoon. All of these methods produced more of a froth than this machine. We were hoping for a new method of frothing as over the years, the stainless steel manual frothers broke and the battery operated wands die off after a year. We just were disappointed with this. For $50 I thought this would be our new tool to froth our milk for our coffee. This had high reveiws and Amazon customers seemed happy but we are not.

Wow! Look no further!
I've never successfully foamed cold whole milk, so I tried this first. Unbelievable, take a look. So far very easy, very impressive foam, and easy to clean. They all appear to make foam, but this is one of few that isn't a single piece with the motor, so very easy to clean! It's been probably 15 minutes now, some milk has blended into the coffee but I still have about an inch of foam sitting on top. Looking forward to trying hot in the morning! The hot foam is thick, delightful and holds up to pouring coffee over it. I have made both whole milk and half and half! There is a minimum line which is far more cream than I need for two cups of coffee. I have found it does fine with less but don't know why this may not be good to do other than the cream does scald slightly on the bottom, may be because of my lower volume.

New favorite appliance! Iced matcha latte FTW
I bought this as an experiment. I’d never owned a milk frother before because I don’t like the non-stick coating inside most. This one is all stainless, except the whisk inside, which is plastic (boo). It is BPA free.Until recently I’ve used a pot to warm up my milk then a foaming wand to get foam. That works fine too but it’s more effort & cleanup.Ultimately I bought this as it’s more energy efficient than heating milk on the stove. Yes, this does sound counterintuitive! Let me explain. We live off-grid. Our solar setup produces excess power during daylight hours. Free renewable energy, woo! Using propane isn’t as efficient as using electricity, for us.This is a pretty efficient appliance energy-wise, too. It’s nowhere near what the electric kettle or toaster oven takes. You become very aware of these things when making your own power! The thing I didn’t realize is how happy having hot chocolate at the press of a button would make me! I also used it to make a turmeric latte and it was by far the best one I’ve had. The turmeric was perfectly blended into the milk.It mixes whatever powder you want to add to your milk very well. As a person who owns a small dairy goat farm, anything that can transform milk sees a lot of use here. For context: I’m using it for raw goat milk that’s got about 5% butterfat. This gadget produces a perfect layer of foam every time.Since I got this thing I’ve used it at least 1x per day. More often it’s many times per day. I’ve tested all 4 of the functions and they are all perfect. Even used it to make a flat, by accident. Not my favorite setting but if you’re into that, it works. On a hot day an iced matcha latte is just divine ✨How to make that:1. Add cold milk to secura frother & set it on the cold froth setting.2. While that’s going put 1 tsp of matcha powder into a wide cup or bowl.3. Blend with about 1 tbs hot water & honey using a whisk. Add 3-4 ice cubes.4. When the frother finishes, add the cool frothy milk. So good on a hot day! 🍵The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the whisk is plastic & the buttons are hard to turn on at first. If those two issues were addressed I’d give 6 stars ⭐️
