It really works... and I'm a skeptic
Had a tenant who told me she heard noises in the ceiling in a couple of different areas; hers is the bottom level of an up/down duplex. I located a spot where a critter had peeled back the tin and gotten in. I thought it was squirrels, but she insisted it had to be something bigger (it was... I found larger than squirrel tracks but could not determine from what animal: It was possum or skunk sized). Attached 3 of the 4 cage folds with screws and washers to plywood with a cage size door cutout, attached the plywood to the siding with sheet rock screws, used a paver under the outermost edge of the cage, then housed the cage with 6 or 7 half sized solid concrete blocks to block the critter from being able to yank on it in any way or dig around the cage. Within 3 or 4 days things went quiet and stayed that way... waited to make sure everybody got out then boarded up the hole 10 days later. Worked better than I thought it would.

Bigger than expected
Quite large but it'll evict a possum/racoon/groundhog from your crawlspace if that's your issue.. Just know it's got some gaps around the edges of the flap/door that smaller critters like mice, small rats and chipmunks could get thru so it won't help with those lil guys!

Yay. Skunk gone from under my house.
The skunk was getting into my house through a small hole left to allow for drainage. Ms. skunk had defeated my previous attempts to block the hole during the night. The last thing I wanted was to trap it under the house and did not want to deal with a live skunk in a standard critter trap. The hole was in a very awkward position but, following the suggestions of another review, I weighted it down, including the phalanges, with pavers and bricks. No more skunk periodically spraying next to my house and smelling things up. Highly recommend.

Great product! I highly recommend it !
This worked out great for us. First, shipping was perfect. The product is sturdy and well made. We had a skunk family living under our low deck and the exterminators would get them out but they euthenized them. Not exactly what I wanted So we waited for the babies to get old enough to be able to push the one way door open and that worked like a charm. We would see them out foraging by themselves so we felt ok that they would find another home Not sure where they went but our deck is now skunk free and no little critters had to be killed. Great product and I highly recommend it

Sturdy and works well for eliminating skunks from under shed
Worked well for getting skunks out from under shed. Place weight on trap and against flaps to keep skunks from moving trap. The skunks dug another hole after trapped was placed, but after filling hole with some post-hole cement they gave up and left.

Skunk can get back in
At first we thought this product worked because the skunk(s) were trying to dig back under the house in other places. However they have learned to pull the door up from the side. I have tried several ways of securing the door after I observed one leaving, but it managed to move the concrete blocks and bricks. The spring on the door is working just fine, but the skunk can still lift it. So I am back to square one of having to get up in the middle of the night and some how block the entrance. The whole point of buying this expensive contraption was so I wouldn't have to do that. Skunks and other animals are very determined to live in a warm dry place, as under a house, as opposed to a deck. We have video of the skunk actually pulling the door up and slipping back in.

A true lifesaver
I have used or recommended these to get cats out of a building that was going to be demolished, an underground space below tennis courts that was going to be closed and from under structures that were going to be rented for termites.

Over priced!
Well made but smaller than I expected. Biggest problem I have with it , way over priced at forty plus dollars. Probably $6 in materials
