This FOSSILES COLLECTION kit contains 12 different real fossil specimens! Each handpicked fossil comes in a ziploc bag with its own ID card. ID cards are two sides: one side has fossil facts and the other side has an illustration of what the fossil may look like when it was alive for millions of years! Our newly designed geological time scale chart and magnifying glass are also included. Fossil sizes range from 2 inches to ¾ depending on the sample. Each fossil is unique, they may differ in color, shape and size from photos. This collection consists of the following fossils: trilobite, Orthocereas, Crinoid Stems, 2 types of shark fossil teeth (Squalicorax and Carcharias), brachiopods, gastropods, Clams, polished ammonite, dinosaur bones, Coral and coproliths (from fossilized turtle poop!). Incredible collection of fossils! The curation and attention to detail with this collection is unrivaled. Each item comes with a description card and a beautiful specimen (for some items, there are multiple) of the fossil in their own individual bag. There is also an informational chart and a small book with even more information about fossils. Paid $20 for this in August of 2025 and it's worth its weight in gold. It doesn't matter if you're 8 or 80, this will please anyone who is interested in natural science!

It has a great assortment of fossils, and was a great gift for the birthday kid. Absolutely loved it!!
