Brilliant! Excellent way to buy a sturdy, easy to put together “box spring” (5 mins)!

Although mine did not come with instructions, it was pretty self explanatory. It does not look the best and is okay quality. Serves its purpose. Mine had extra parts. It is not very versatile. Easy to move and assemble.

I recently ordered this frame for my son’s new bed. I arrived with no damage and well packaged. It does require some assembly with an Allen wrench, some bolts, and washers; however the directions are self explanatory enough and I was able to assemble it within 15 minutes. It also conveniently comes with a torque wrench for the bolts which made it a lot easier versus using the metal allen key. It also comes with extra bolts and washers in case you misplace some. The height was also perfect at the exact 7” I needed. All in all, a great purchase.

Easy to assemble except two pieces were missing. I tried to call the company for replacement but they wanted pictures, etc. instead I returned (very heavy) and was sent a new on. Good height, heavy duty, no squeeking and good price.

So long has it been since I bought a box spring, that when I looked them up on Amazon, I fully expected to be buying a wooden box spring with the wooden slats. I hadn't known that they pretty much all switched over to metal box springs that have to be assembled. There is such a variety of them on Amazon, that I looked at other people's reviews for a good rating, and particularly ones that were reviewed to be easy to assemble. This one had a high rating and was generally rated high for ease of assembly. The price was right, so I sprung for it (no pun intended). It did not disappoint. It arrived quickly, in fact sooner than they had predicted. It took one person less than an hour to assemble with the included tool. It sits solidly on the bedframe, and we are now enjoying its support!

I was impressed enough with this box spring to come and write a review the day after I assembled it. I was concerned because prior to purchasing, Amazon flagged this item as one with frequent returns. Thankfully, I went ahead and ordered it based on the good reviews I had read. It is awesome! I live in a two-story townhouse, and this box spring allowed me to set up a king bed in my bedroom! It was super easy to carry the box up the stairs.The instructions were very clear on what parts went where, and even with my very limited carpentry skills, it was super easy to put together. It took 14 screws total and even came with an Allen wrench and a ratchet for easy assembly. All the different pieces were zip-tied together, so it was easy to tell which pieces were the same & what kind they were. Overall, I would definitely highly recommend this box spring for anyone; I honestly think they could charge more for the quality, but I am thankful that they did not because as a student, I really could not afford other options. 10/10 cannot recommend enough!

After reading good reviews, I decided to go with this metal box spring. The old wooden one was getting weak after a few years and it would squeak non stop. This new box spring was easy to install and it came with the cover. Now my king size bed feels sturdy and doesn't squeak anyone.

Zinus was a complete failure today. I have bought 2 of their mattresses and we love them. This product unfortunately didn't arrive with any parts and the Zinus Customer Service who was not much of a help in getting me the replacement HW quickly. I am surprised that they haven't made provision for this type of situation since I am sure it happens reqularly.Ok - so here's Part 2 of this review. I wish there is a ZERO star. So not sure who did the QA for this one box that I received but in the words of my kids - this was an EPIC fail.To continue this saga, when the box arrived, much to my dismay, the hardware was not included. So while zinus support was of ZERO help - despite this being a frequent occurance with their box springs (just search the comments and you can check), Amazon shipped me a 2nd order of box spring which arrived today - 3 days after the 1st one. So I was all set to just put it all together coz now I have all the screws and boths.Ummmm.. can you tell the difference between the 2 pictures ?? It appears Zinus folks, forgot to make the 2 holes they needed to make on the piece. So now, i had to dive back into the box (of course I had taped it back up to go back to Amaraon) that arrived today, and along with the hardwar pouch, had to go and find the piece and make sure it has the 2 holes.Who forgets parts these days ? I mean are you using your aunts and uncles to do QC Zinus ? I thought most manufacturers used those new fangled things called 'computers' to make sure the correct Bill of Material is INCLUDED with the box, before it is sealed ?? You guys make a good foam mattress and that's just 1 item.. and i thisnk you should stick with just 1 item to pack. Anytime it semms more than 1 item, like this boxspring - you guys just can't do it. Not a biggie - we should alll do what we are good at.

Instructions were easy to follow and the pieces fit together like they were supposed to, had absolutely no problems constructing it. We could not find a California king box spring or foundation anywhere close to home so we are thrilled Amazon had this option. The bed makes no noise now when we move around and it feels incredibly solid. Seems sturdy, like it is going to last and with the new frame our mattress (purchased almost two years ago but still fairly new) feels AMAZING!! My husband and I just had the best sleep we've had in so long. What a significant difference, we both woke up with no pain for the first time in memory and feel like a million bucks. Overall this purchase was well worth every cent! Thanks Zinus and Amazon!

Initially intended to buy the 5” version but was sold out. This one is perfect under our new king size Casper mattress. Assembly was easy, you just need space to lay it all out. No squeaking or noise which was what we were afraid of.

Just built it the day before yesterday, it's a nice product to be fair, but what I received is a returned one, those cable ties already cut open, that’s one star lost, but others are fine, it’s not hard to assemble the pieces together, the fact is it’s tricky in the fist steps, after that it’s easy.it does take around 40mins.

This came in a fairly small box, easy to move without help. It took my husband and I approximately 20 minutes to assemble with the provided tools, it's pretty much idiot proof even without the directions (which are very straight forward). The only issue that we ran into was user error. Because the slats just set into the frame and do not actually attach, when we lifted it slightly to get the mattress cover onto the assembled product, the slat I was holding slipped out and the boxspring fell on the top of my foot (and was heavy enough to break the bones). Love the box spring, just wish I had used my brain a bit when moving it around.

Would give zero stars if I could. Spent 2.5 hours assembling the box spring, only to realise it is missing one of the horizontal support bars - effectively, the mattress now sags in one spot. Contacted Zinus and they were unwilling to send a replacement part or do anything to assist in resolving the matter, other than directing me to Amazon (who directed me back to Zinus). Save your money. I now have a useless piece of junk box spring and had to deal with terrible customer service from the manufacturer.
