Always use the sugarflair range, good vibrant colours, no taste and very versatile, a small amount goes along way proving good value for money. Colours don’t tend to fade and easy to use, sugar paste models I have been made above 12 months and colours are still the same.

I mainly use Culpitt Food Colouring. They are easy to use and give a good colour to my ready to roll icing that I use as cake coverings. I have used this company before and have found them to be reliable and helpful. No quibble is there is a problem which is sorted out timeously. Would recommend.

As a VERY novice cake baker (and painter), I wasn't quite sure if these were going to do the job. But I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! I bought a selection of earthy colours to make a cake that resembles a log. They were easy to 'paint' with and the colours were rich and vibrant and didn't alter the taste of my icing. The picture is just to show the colours which were used on white fondant icing, don't judge my cake!

Made a rainbow cake using these colourings?, I was familiar with the brand as my mum used to make wedding cakes and she had them all in her collection however I wanted to get my own as I bake with my daughter. Did not disappoint definitely buy again, colours were so vibrant and good value for money.

These colourings for baking are amazing I've a good collection of them now. You don't need loads of it, I use the handle bit of a spoon to scoop a little out at a time as they are quite solid. Just a bit of advice regarding the darker colours ie black navy deep red etc.... use a stick blender and do a little at a time when your adding the colour, honestly it does work.
