Sultry Stories 12 Shade Eyeshadow Palette by Sculpted by Aimee - Matte, Shimmer, Metallic, Vegan-Friendly and Cruelty Free Eyeshadow

If you love your neutral tones & muted hints of colour, then you should take a closer look at this palette, as the mix of six mattes, 3 shimmers, and 3 metallics, is extremely handy for creating dozens of looks that cover every season & occasion. The selection of wearable coordinated shades and great quality, make this palette an ease & joy to use. The smooth application and ease of blending with the mattes is superb, and the metallic formulas are creamy, don't have glitter chunks in them, and they are not too thin - my personal favourite formula for metallic finishes. I haven't had any problems with any of the formulas for any of the shades. I honestly can't come up with any negatives for this product as a whole, except for that the colour story is not reinventing the wheel - but sorry not sorry, these shades work really well for every eye colour and loads of skintones, so having a few more great quality ones on the market won't hurt anyone.Due to the unoriginal colour story I won't call this palette a must-have, but if neutrals are your thing, then this is a fantastic buy for you to consider; the palette has all of the basics most people use on a wide variety of occasions. It's a very nice capsule collection of universal necessities, that create year-round looks, that range from barely there, work/school, dates and big nights out. I'm not saying that this brand has the best formulas I've ever tried, but for the price point that this palette is sold at, I'm very happy with the performance of every shade and can't pinpoint any shades to fault. I'd say that the product quality is on par with other popular mid range brands like Fenty & Urban Decay, only this costs slightly less and you get more product compared to other mid-range brands - each pan holds 1.6g of product.

I like this eyeshadow palette.Good mix of colours - something for every occasion.They apply well, last and look lovely.

Packaging is beautiful - rose gold coloured embellishments on the box and the case, and inside a super big mirror which makes life easier when using the palette.Inside there are 12 generous pans of colour. They're medium to dark, a mixture of matt and shimmer, all of which can be used together.I find it quite a warm palette, but personally not enough lighter colours - quite autumnal, sultry as the description says.The product went on well with a brush, with good pigment and it doesn't have loads of fall out around the eye. There's a very helpful leaflet with suggestions about different looks you can create.I can't give it more than four stars for longevity - it was fine for me, but I'm not sure it is a 12 hour product. That may just be me, and others may find it better with different skin types.

I ordered this eye shadow for my wife, so the following review is based on my better half’s feed-back after using this palette for several days….My initial reaction to this product, after opening, was what a lovely range of 12 colours. In practice, I found them easy to blend and apply, and I was impressed that they lasted a long time on the skin. In addition, I only had to apply a smidgen to given the desired effect - which means they should last me a long time. I found that I didn’t have to use a primer, and that none of the colours irritated my skin. Overall, I did like the high quality of this palette, though at the present price of £34, I do think these are rather expensive. That said, this palette of 12 shades does produce lovely results, and it’s nicely packaged, meaning it would make a super gift. Hand on heart, this is a product I find difficult not to recommend. Oh, and I love the unforgettable name of this palette: Sultry Stories! 💕

Nice colours that went on nicely and blended well. After about 6 hours I did notice that the eyeshadow had gathered in the crease of my eyelids but this might be down to the primer not being the best.The booklet that comes with this is handy on trying out some looks if you're new to trying eyeshadow.The mirror and the palette are of a good size too.

This is an excellent eye shadow compact, with a nice sized mirror, comprising of 12 natural and earthy tones in matte, shimmer and metallic.I am pale-skinned, and they work for me.The shadows are easy to apply, are highly pigmented, and can be blended to create many different looks from daytime to night.They do not leave any powder residue on the face and last all day without creasing.In my opinion, and taking into consideration the price of £34, this compact is still excellent quality. It is a good addition to my make-up kit, especially as there are 12 good size shadows.Highly recommended and I will continue to use it in the future.I have previously reviewed other products from this brand and have found them all to be excellent quality. This pallete contains a mixture of matte and shimmer eyeshadows in complementary shades. They blend beautifully and are really good quality, lasting all day without smudging or creasing. A nice collection that comes in a good sized pallete, with a mirror.
