Funciona
Falta cambiar pieza detectada

Highest review rating is well deserved.
I have held off buying a code reader for a while. I am not really that interested in getting under a car any more unless it is for something simple and is going to save me a lot of money with relatively little hassle. My days in the gutter swopping starter motors and exhausts are over. I drive a 13 year old golf and the dreaded engine management light went on for the second time in two years (first time cleared by a mechanic). With the engine management light on the car switches into some kind of safe mode and further reduces the already meager power available.Enough is enough - time to buy a code reader. I chose this unit based on the fact that (i) it was mid range and had (ii) the highest review rating on Amazon. I have never seen another code reader let alone used one but I will say this; this is a well built, sturdy, simple and clear bit of kit. It comes with a clear detailed set of instructions and was easy to use. Another reviewer helpful recommended READING the instructions FIRST and then using. Following this advice I spent 20 minutes reading the manual but it was then literally a two minute job to find the ODB2 port, plug the reader in, let it sync with the car, read off the codes (there were none, looks like idling the car after a spell of very cold damp weather might have confused the car electronics) and then clear codes and thereby the engine management light getting the car back into normal running mode. So my experience is limited but I can only say for a relatively unsophisticated user this has been a VERY good purchase.I realize now a reader like this will help a modestly technically literate car owner have some idea what is happening under the bonnet and give a first point of call in deciding if it is something you can fix. I was a bit surprised there is no online manual (DON'T loose the booklet) but this aside I can only thank the other reviewers who saw me right in choosing this unit.
