Love this trash can. Have been using it for almost 5 years at this point so it lasts a good while. Love the many different compartments, and use the bottom droor for my extra bags. The best perk is being able to separate composite from recycling. It does require 6 AA batteries but they lost a really long time. Overall really happy with this product and one of my favorite purchase for household products.

Love this can with the 3 parts to it wet trash dry trash and recycles great concept if the parts worked I contacted seller received no response about the lid Not working so right there there customer service is awful .so I’m using the liid with no batteries. Also they give a lid to cover garbage on left side but you can’t get it off with the lid on VERY POOR DESIGN I have not made up my mind as to if I’m keeping it or not , customer service is important to me this companies customer service non exsistent I don’t recommend this product oh did I mention the box got thrown out!> BUYER BE WARE lid stopped automatically working for no reason at all DO NOT BUY, I just can’t take it any more contacted vendor again..filled the form out on line now yet still waiting for a response . I’m 75 years old they wanted me to upload photo Now that’s funny they don’t tale your word for it that it’s damaged but they sure as hell take your money. Still waiting for response it's supposed to be warranty for a year think before you buy this today is 10/20/24 still no one contacted me this has got to be worst customer service ever they give a year warranty cause it takes over a year to contact you I’m going to have to take this to BBB I have contacted this company several times they NEVER got back to me

This trash bin solved my problem of having two trash cans.one for recycling and one for common trash.I don't have much space in my kitchen and this works fine

The design is beyond perfect for what I need but it is junk right out of the box. I put in 16 different batteries, I have been fussing with it for about an hour to finally accept it is complete junk. I just wish they made this in a non automatic version. I am not so lazy I can't lift a lid, but there is no easy way to lift it. Save yourself the headache of returning this garbage. Pun intended.Edit to add because I added stars back. The company reached out and has offered to send new lid. It really is the perfect configuration, so I accepted their offer. They want to make it right and I appreciate that.ETA again. We went on vacation for a week and when we got home the lid isn't working again!! I absolutely love the design. At this point I just wish I could get a non electronic lid. The lights still come on. I have taken batteries out, tried to figure out to reset. This is simply just way too expensive to have this happening. Design 5 star. Functionality 0 stars. And of course, we are now out of return period and threw boxes out because we couldn't believe both kids would fall apart.

I love this can for the most part. It’s perfect other than the batteries seem to wear out within a few weeks and the sensor is either too sensitive or has a great lag in the response. Ex: when sweeping I have to hold the dust pan over the can for a good 5 seconds at the appropriate length before it finally opens and if the dust pan is too low it hits it and knocks out whatever is in it. If you learn it it’s fine, just not always and convenient. The organizability of the compartments is great and space conscious (living in a camper!) I paid $100 previously for a different unit just months ago and it’s in the trash now. I expect this to last us years.

Automatic lid stopped working in a short amount of time. Tried a return/replace through Amazon but was referred to the seller’s website.Seller was unresponsive to my multiple messages.NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Sometimes the expense is worth the convenience.I previously used a standard 13gal can but most garbage days I’d toss a bag half full. For a time I used a smaller pail atop the 13gal can but it was too small. Finally I got tired of that space-inefficient set-up and settled on this gem of a garbage receptacle.The motion sensor works well with a solid gliding hand over it, not a wrist flick. Using the button props the door up longer.I appreciate the lights inside the top compartment since the location I have the garbage can doesn’t get good lighting.The 4gal bins could’ve been designed more wide-mouthed - I have to be careful emptying my Dyson canister - otherwise the capacity is perfect.

I now have, from the City of Modesto/State of California, 3 outside Garbage Cans that I have instructions on what can & what cannot go in them!! This Kitchen garbage can, with the 3 ,makes it so much easier for me to keep all garbage separated & put in the correct outside can!! If I didn't I could be fined & that's not gonna happen!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GARBAGE CAN!!!!
