Very good customer support
I read reviews and specs for many scooters and motorized wheel chairs and decided this would be best for me considering cost, weight and transportability. I had never owned a scooter before this but had rented them on many occasions. This is not sold as a medical device and I don't believe it can be purchased using medical savings account funds. It is very easy to assemble assuming you have 10mm deep socket. They include a chintzy 10mm open end that is nearly worthless, but it will get the job done if that is all you have. I received this scooter and it worked fine except that the battery indicator lights would not go out. The lights were supposed to be off except when you hit the momentary switch to check charge status, but the only way I could get these to go off was to remove the battery from the scooter. Customer support worked with me on this and eventually they replaced the entire chassis to resolve the problem. I have not taken the scooter out of the house yet but around the house it works great passing through my approx 30 inch doorways with ease. The overall width is about 23 inches at the widest point which is the rear axle. It is much more substantial than the SuperHandy scooter which is a very similar design by the same company except it is not as heavy duty as this G3. This one also has armrests and a much more substantial seat, although the seat is heavier. I wish it had a key switch to discourage joy riders because it seems very inviting to kids. The two included batteries charge quickly with the included charger; about 1 1/2 hours each. You can charge one while scooting with the other. I think it is going to be perfect for the zoo, museums, casinos etc. I don't know about cruise ship doors. I'll update if anything changes but I believe it is going to be just what I needed and I expect it to last quite a while. Hat tip to Great Circle Machinery for this.January 22 2023 Update and battery report:Went out this morning with a fully charged battery. According to the tracking app on my phone, I went 3.18 miles in about 49 minutes (about 4 mph) before the battery was depleted. The terrain was basically flat on the street and sidewalk and I ran full throttle the entire time. I weigh about 200 lbs and the temperature was about 50 F. The scooter did not slow noticeably as the battery became depleted and then quit suddenly when the battery was at zero. Just changed the battery and drove home.

Scooter freedom
When I started not to be able to walk long distances. This became such a wonderful addition to my life. It is light enough to put in the back of the truck and small cars. It gives me so much freedom. It is so wonderful to have my own scooter.

Un-usable. Can't be assembled, weighs WAY MORE than advertised
Extremely disappointing. Two major problems with this scooter. Sent it right back to Amazon.1) the screw holes did not line up to attach the handlebar, so impossible to attach it. Scooter can’t be assembled. No quality control for an item this expensive?2) absolutely misleading (false) advertising regarding the weight. In 2 places on Amazon site, the scooter is listed as weighing 32 lbs. Photo attached., but the scooter actually weighs almost 52 lbs! HUGE DIFFERENCE.The shipping label said weight of box was 52 lbs. I got concerned seeing that.In the instruction booklet that came with it, it says the frame weighs 32 lbs. The seat weighs 15 lbs, 2 batteries, each 2 lbs. All added together = 51 lbs. The scooter does NOT weigh 32 Lbs, just the frame does!I had seen a similar complaint in a review for another scooter model by the same company, but foolishly thought this model would actually weigh 32 lbs. Boy was I deceived. With a very injured knee, weight really matters for me. No way will I ever be able to lift 1 piece that weighs 32 lbs into my car.VERY DISSATISFIED, VERY DISAPPOINTED

Useful Mobility Aid once a Traveller has arrived at a destination
My wife has a mobility issue. Having this scooter made her visit to Australia from Canada much more pleasant. The box in which the scooter was shipped is sturdy and its ruggedness can be improved for shipping the scooter to a travel destination. As well, the scooter can be further disassembled to make it even more compact for shipping (the box height was reduced by 4 inches making it much more manageable as airline luggage). The airline we used was receptive to carrying the boxed scooter so long as the lithium batteries are transported in ones carry on bag. The airline also required prior approval to take the scooter and a dangerous goods permit needed to be obtained from it to transport the two batteries. The application process was easily completed online. On location the scooter was reassmbled in about 20 minutes and my wife was on her way. One comment she would make is there are situations where she felt unstable, particularly where sidewalks leaned to one side or were steep. It was very useful for shopping and use on any hard surface. Level grassy areas were easily navigated, however rough surfaces were difficult to ride on as there is only one rear wheel which is powered. Likewise there is only one rear wheel which has a brake, so steeper slopes could feel uncomfortable to navigate. Be aware that the brake is a bicyle style unit, not automatic electronically operated as on many scooters. Some sacrifices needed to be made to keep the unit light for handling and shipping. Overall, the scooter appears well made and does provide the user independence and enjoyment which would otherwise be missing. This is a light alternative to the heavy wheelchairs and scooters which are in the marketplace and can be recommended with the few reservations expressed.

GREAT SCOOTER AT A GOOD PRICE
Several have askes me about this scooter when out using it. I just red some reviews here and had to write to rebut some. I have found it great in every way. I am 81 have a bum shoulder and i can take it out of my car trund, assemble, use it, disasemble, and lifte in back into my trund and my wife can also do so. The one little problem is the bell is a pice of junk not even good enougt for a small kids trycycle., it fell apart. I wll get a bike bell,, The battery usually lasts for 5 to+ hours so two are more than enough for one day. My only wish would be 2 wheel drive as 1 wheel drive does not always run good on grass.
