Great for my frizzy, dry, 2C-3A hair. As good for my hair as Aveda’s fab “be curly enhancer” but without the heavy 1970’s “Herbal Essence” scent from the $$$$ price… just a light, fresh scent that does not bother my scent sensitive migraines & I can afford it. These days, price is super imp, but if it doesn’t work, it’s just a waste. This works! It does NOT dry my hair. It’s creamy and very hydrating . Just love this product… it’s by far the best my hair has ever looked! I plan to slowly try other Joico products in my routine 4 their high quality & sensitivity to the economic situation of our country. Thank you! AAA+++++ ❤️ My routine. I hope it helps someone. The LOG method, but I edited to COGM method on my thick, stubborn, crazy, hated, Irish Curls, flat on top, tight and frizzy on bottom. 🤮 WAIT! There is HOPE due to these excellent products. I have a LOT of dry hair, so you may need less. I’d go with my use, then modify for your taste. 🥰 ALL steps: work in each ingredient with fingers. Then layer next on top. Get under-story by turning head upside down. I brush style, very quickly on dripping wet hair. I add a lot of water at this point with my mister. This helps retain curls, not devolve into friz. GENTLY pulse a little with soft tee shirt, all over head. Be very careful not to break up any curl families. . I air dry b/c I’m busy. You’ll get even better results if you diffuse. C. CURL CREAM: 2-3 pumps Joico Curl Cream (OR good Leave-In) (Aveda is also good) O. OIL: 1-2 pumps good quality oil (I like Verb) G. GEL: 1-2 TBLS. Strong, high quality, like Aveda Flax-Aloe Gel. It’s Watery. Don’t wanna waste any! Lasts 4evr. M. MOUSSE: 3-4 pumps Design Essentials Almond& Avocado Curl Mousse. Not sticky or drying like some! Just big pretty curls. I wish they made a perfume! The light scent is DIVINE! Luscious.

Wonderful product for curly hair! Eliminates frizz, not greasy, not crunchy! Strong perfume odor but it dissipates quickly. Love, love, love this stuff!

I’m super picky about my curl care. Love this product. It’s lightweight and easy to distribute throughout my hair. It appears to hydrate my curls and keep my curls looking great all day! Have bought repeatedly and will buy again! Joico has quality products inside other products in the line.

I have fine, curly hair and use this on very wet hair. It helps keep it moisturized while defining my curls. I pair it with the curling gel to set my curls for the day.

Great for curly hair. Holds curls all day with less frizz. Washes out well and doesn't make my hair appear or feel greasy. Soft to touch and gives Great volume after being dried on low heat. Leaves defined curls.
