Sturdy, well constructed and designed, easy to disassemble and clean. Birdies love it. Nice looking, strong steel strap with waterproof wrap. It keeps the rain off the seeds inside; the exposed feed will get wet. It is a bit slow to fill thru narrow chimney. Edges are big enough for small to medium sized birds (finches to blue jays).

I just received my second one yesterday and I love it. This is beautiful and functional. The colors are vibrant and long lasting in the Florida sun. I had purchased one approx 3 years ago & it’s still as sturdy with the colors just as bright as when first purchased. The squirrels have been able to get to the seeds sometimes as I watch, for the fun of it, they have a hard time & usually just give up. It’s easy to put the seeds in through the chimney. This one is in red & not only did I love it, so did the birds. I use it for safflower seeds to attract Cardinals to my back yard. I have them hanging but you can also set them on a pole. This will make a beautiful housewarming gift or as a gift for bird lovers. I am actually going to order 5 of these as Christmas gifts for my bird loving family.

Many years ago, I had purchased a bird feeder similar to this one. When I saw this one, with all the cute details, I had to have it. It is made of tough plastic (the deer have knocked it to the ground many times and it survived) and is easy to clean in a bleach solution. It has a massive capacity, but I never fill it, I just put the seed in the trays. Attractive and strong, for a very good price.

"Squirrel-resistent" does not mean that it will keep them entirely off (it won't!), but... It is very hardily & solid/sturdy built, that (so far) none have been able to "scratch the surface", let-alone chewed entirely through, or been able to open up (as they have with others) to just fully help themselves and empty it right out with a 10-minute feeding-frenzy either. It has an innovative INTERNAL baffle, that only flows fresh/new seed into the tray on a very "metered" basis. Enough to keep an always fresh, ever-ready supply "out" & available for my birds (who ALL just LOVE this!) - but not so much that the squirrels end up (mostly) even really trying! So in that aspect - this really works! And, it truly LOOKS GREAT as a garden decoration, complimenting and enhancing your backyard landscape as well. Very, very happy with this feeder!

3rd one I've bought from this brand but the birds do not like this one as much as the other two. Item is durable, and functional like the others, and the size is good. I have them on Shepard hooks. Ended up buying the correct item to fill them without a mess, and happy I did. They are sturdy and do not rust like metal ones if you live near salt water, so that makes them a good value for our area. Very cute designs and our bird visitors enjoy the lighthouse the best. the feeding area is great. Good delivery.

i recently purchased this from cart2india online vendor via amazon.in. firstly i had my doubts about cart2india as a vendor since their website was not looking professional. so i took a risk and ordered it from amazon. to my surprise..cart2india was so diligent and prompt with the logistics that i recieved it infact way before what amazon's delivery date. thanks cart2india online. now this product is a masterpiece...frankly first 2 days not one bird visited my house...i guess they were inspecting the area if its not a trap due to its bright red color...i don't think anyone in india has this bird feeder as this was something new to them....and on the third day i had 6 finches and 3 sparrows totally enjoying the grains. now i have them coming everyday..its safe from pigeons as the perch distance is perfect for smaller birds...a beautiful gift for a nature lover... worth it!!

I feed birds all year round and sadly, with elements exposure, my bird feeders break after a few years. To replace one of those, i bought this one. Really love the design, it's pretty big and easy to open. Plastic is more durable in my climate; metal bird feeders usually rust and rot and need to be replaced faster. Pretty happy with my purchase
