I bought this for my 10 year old grand son who is very good at putting things together. He really liked it and immediately started trying to assemble it--but the instructions are very difficult to follow. The parts are all pretty small--I thought it would be a little bigger--and the drawings on the instructions do not make it clear which part is which or where they belong. For example, there are several different wheel shaped parts, and on the drawings they are hard to tell apart. He is actually good at figuring out the drawings and was working on it. But I left so not sure if he got it put together. This would be fine for an inexpensive gift IF the instructions were clearer, but they are not.

This is a gift for a 9 to 12 year old. I thought it would be a educational, creative and fun toy.
