I purchased several of these hats for my family. We are volunteering for disaster relief & needed to update our PPE. This is an essential piece of equipment and these are well made. The color makes a difference in pricing but I’m not sure why. I got the black matte one for my husband and his was nearly twice as expensive as mine which is this safety green color. I like the color on this hat. It’s easy to find me on a site! Very bright just as shown. The hat was easy to put together - comes in two pieces and you just snap in the inner strap for your head. It adjusts to a comfortable fit with the ratchet system to tighten or loosen it. I have a pretty small head but it wasn’t a problem for this hat. We prefer this vented model because in the warmer months your head can get warm in them and the vents at the top help get the heat out. The hats are lightweight even though they provide good sturdy protection. That was another important feature for me since I have neck issues sometimes and can’t be wearing a heavy hat. These are exactly what we were looking for - in fact my husband was so proud cuz he said usually the foreman gets to wear the hat with the full brim lol We’re pleased with these and I’m sure we’ll get good use of them. I’ve already recommended this hat to other volunteers on our team.

This is my second hard hat like this. I bought the black one first and now have a white one. The reason for the white one, it's cooler in the summertime, the sun really heats up the black one. The fit is perfect, it's very very comfortable with the adjustment ring on the inside, quickly dials to a nice snug fit. I mounted a GoPro on it for when I'm climbing towers. The look is awesome and the wide brim keeps the snow and rain from rolling off and down the back of your neck like other hard hat tend to do. I'll be buying more for my techs. Good colour selection too. I especially like the carbon fiber look of them. I know you've been thinking about it, so get one already, you won't be disappointed.

I have a big head (24") and it's hard to find gear. This fit perfect. Super light and comfy.
