One little thing makes a difference...
This little thing for 11$ fixed my issues on a Ford Expedition EL 2011 within minutes.Shifter was stuck in Parking mode and all break-lights were off. Really easy install!Just bought a 2nd one. Just in case this will ever happen again...

Inexpensive fix
This easy to replace part fixed the problem. My 2010 F150 would not shift out of park. I found a YouTube video that showed this brake switch, just above the brake pedal, could be the problem. It also showed how to replace this part. After watching the video, I would reach under the dash, work the flexible "button" on the old brake switch back and forth a couple times, and then I could switch out of park and be on my way. After doing that 4 times in one morning, I decided to buy this very inexpensive, easy to replace brake switch .. thanks YouTube, thank you Amazon, all working fine now !!

Easy fix!
Bought a used '08 Expedition a few years ago, been a great truck. Occasionally it would take a few tries to shift out of park. Took a road trip to Seattle and it really started acting up. I was in a parking lot of a grocery store and couldn't get it in gear, so I did what the kids do and googled it, "Expedition won't shift out of park" is a common thing. I was scared of a several hundred-dollar transmission job when it was a $20 brake switch. Watched a couple youtube videos and had installed in less than 10 minutes. Even better, I had some reward points so I got if for less than $4 with free shipping. Handled!

Easy to install. I haven't been able to test it's functionality. Turns out that rats chewed my wire harness.
