My cockatiels love it
EDIT: My cockatiels have figured out that these pellets need to be bitten into halves before swallowing them. They now love these pellets so much that they’re fighting over the food bowl. If your bird won’t eat it at first, keep giving it to them and often they will find out how tasty it is. I love that this pellet has no added sugar and my birds love it equally as much as their old pellets!Original review:These pellets were too big for my cockatiels to eat comfortably. However, they happily gobbled the pellets up when I ground them down into smaller bits. If your birds like their pellets on the smaller side, get a smaller option.

Seed-hog Converted!
I adopted a 13 yr-old "re-homed" cockatiel, who was clearly malnourished. It's likely she had an all-commerical seed diet for over a decade. She readily picked the millet and sunflower seeds out and left any "healthy" pellets behind. I tried offering fresh fruits/cooked sweet potato, but she never touched them.As others have described, these pellets have a pleasant, fruity aroma. After only 1-2 days of being offered the pellets, she began to nibble them. Soon after, she realized how delicious they are and now eats them before the small amount of seed I give her. She gets organic, raw seeds now, but has converted to eating approximately 67% of her diet to these pellets!! I am so pleased.I hope this smaller-size bag comes back into stock before we run out! 😟
