Trusted Brand and Works Great
Had to replace my old powered 8db gain per channel Splitter( different brand) due to power failure surges. I live in a rural area. I went with this 7.5db gain per channel Splitter(close enough). This is very sturdy, seems to be well made. Has a little weight to it which surprised me. Very easy to hook up and works well with no loss I can see. Also, had to replace the 28db PreAmp( different brand) at the antenna. Used the Channel Master adjustable 17 to 31db gain PreAmp. Even set at the low end I am able to pick up about twice the amount of channels during a scan. Picture very sharp and clear. Very pleased with these units and Channel Master.

The darn thing actually works!
I live in the mountains surrounded by trees. I have a good digital over-the-air antenna, but I live far away from most of the TV signals. Mountains, Trees, Distance. If you want to kill an over the air signal that's how you do it. I've tried a half-dozen of these booster things with virtually no benefit, and honestly I was hesitant to buy another one. I'm familiar with the Channel Master brand, so I rolled the dice and decided to give it a try. I was ready to accept failure once more, and was startled that my reception increased by 40%, maybe 50%! Signal strength for existing channels and I'm now receiveing channels that I didn't know existed. I changed nothing with my antenna or conditions. I simply added this to the antenna line that feeds three TV's and plugged it in. It works great! I'm very surprised. Now I'm an electrician so installing this was easy for me, and in reality if you have an electrical outlet that can be used to power it, and are capable of attatching the TV co-ax cables, this is an easy installation. If you need someone to help you, don't hesitate, it's an easy install for someone who is versed in such things. This is an easy 5 stars. I'm still surprised and very pleased at how well this Channel Master Booster works. I didn't think it could be done.

It works. Strengthns the signal and supports its distribution to several TVs.
I was having a hard time with the Antenna signal strength, especially distributing it to the 4 TVs in the house that are quite apart, with long coaxial cable runs. I replaced an aging splitter/amplifier with this one and the results are nothing short of amazing. Instead of 60+ channels, TVs capture 106 channels! All with solid signal. So if have a similar case, this is well worth a try. It made a difference, and resolved the occasional frustration with weak signals that would cause pixelation.

Works great.
I live in a rural area 90 miles from the TV stations. I have a large antenna with pre-amp on a 40 ft tower to pull them in. 75% of the channels were completely perfect, but a few (namely Fox who always seems to operate at half the power of others and always seems to conflict with another nearby Fox channel) were borderline or poor. I had a 3 way spiltter that I replaced with this distribution amp and it helped to settle reception on some channels due to the boost (not half power Fox though). It also - depending on weather - allowed pulling in some side band stations. Overall, happy with the product and performance. Via my TV diagnostics my signal to noise ratio was only 15-17 with the TVs automatic amplifier running at 50%.. After I installed this, my signal to noise ratio improved to 18-22 with the TV automatic amplifier down to 30%. So real results in a difficult long range environment. It additionally filters out interference such as 5G which is a problem in my area, this device solved that part completely.

I've never been so impressed.
Really does work. I had a long-range antenna that plugged into the tv. I could get all the channels, but half were pixilated or wouldn't come in at all. The preamp wouldn't work with the old antenna because it had a built-in amplifier. I Bought a cheap antenna without built in amplifier from Amazon and all channels are clear and receptive. I fought this problem for years and can't believe how easy it was to fix.

Works for some but I guess not for others
Don't really see an improvement in signal. Ran a 10ft line from antenna to this booster located in the attic since I have the antenna outside and did not want a extension cord on the roof in the weather. The antenna signal strength shows the same on the TV as I had without it. Guess it must work under certain circumstances. Not on mine.

Fixed reception for channels 7, 9, and 11 in Los Angeles area
Solved reception issues with station still transmitting on VHF, specifically, 7, 9, and 11 in the LA basin. Generally improved signal strength for other channels. Based on research, I also added a 5G filter (positioned between antenna and amplifier). Amp is running in low power mode. Region: Central Orange County, California Transmitter: Mt. I was able to receive 5 channels using my new Clearstream outdoor antenna however two of the channels from the Hamilton and Burlington ON were sketchy at times. Sometimes the signal failed due to weather conditions. Since installing the Channel Master amplifier these two channels are very consistent even during thunderstorms. All pictures are extremely clear. I am also able to get a sixth channel from Toronto ( City TV) even though the strength of the signal is rather weak according to the channel strength indicator. Weather does play havoc with the City TV station. Very pleased with the Channel Master amplifier and new antenna. Using the outdoor antenna and Channel Master at my Park Model RV in a park with numerous mature trees limiting access to a clear path to pick up TV signals.
