We were replacing an older Sunbeam blanket, and this is a real powerhouse in comparison. Nine heat levels – and low is sometimes too much! Love that each side has its own cord – hoping that will make it last longer, because having only one cord split into two sides, was the likely culprit in my side of the old blanket failing. Material is very soft and the blanket is quite large – we have the queen size version on our king size bed, and it drops over the sides a bit and has enough material to fold over at the top.

This has been a life saver, or maybe a foot saver, this frigid winter. It's perfectly sized to drape over the end of our queen bed. The highest heat setting is six, which gives a cozy warmth without over doing it, and it can be set for as much as 10 hours duration. This is perfect for preheating, a good nights sleep, and a leisurely wake up. Even my husband has become a fan!

The 100” X 90” fits our Cal King mattress just fine. It is comfortable and heats well. We personally dont need the quick heating feature, just something that could cause failure. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is the temp back light times out quickly. I feel it should be on the whole time the blanket is on. How else can you find it for adjustment in the middle of the night ? At first we thought the blanket was shutting off. There is nothing explaining this in the instructions. I miss the o;d time simple heated blankets with simple dials.

Firstly, the box shows a single controller. I ordered a double controller. So I started the return process as 'unopened'. Then I read the order details, and it should be dual control. So I opened it and it was. I plugged it in, and it doesn't get very hot, even on high, even right on your skin. The heating elements are in the center of the blanket, and worse yet, the parts of the blanket that don't have any heating elements are actually COLD! It's b/c of the cheap fabric. (see photo gray) I have 2 WH throws and another dual control WH queen that are different fabric. Like old school flannel. (see photo plaid turquoise). Awesome blankets all. But I made the mistake of washing our big queen blanket, and one side shorted out. Now, I am crying. Nothing like my old ones available. We are using a broken blanket, b/c it's better than these new ones. I had this new one on my bed. It would've been so easy to just keep it. But it is just not good. I couldn't do it. I have to send it back. My uncle retired from WH decades ago. Not the same company, not the same products. I'm tired of the search for a new electric blanket. Everything available is garbage. UPDATE: When I searched for the blanket I wanted, Amazon did NOT make it among the choices. BUT, after I messaged the seller, and they messaged back, I found the blanket! I immediately ordered it and I am excited to get it. This was an Amazon/algorithm failure. The good blankets are available. You just have to look for the flannel ones.

I like the blanket it is soft and comfortable. The controls are slippery and slid out of my hands. I have changed it so the cord is longer and can come up further on the bed.

This blanket is incredibly soft, cozy and heats up quickly to a very nice temperature. The fabric is the best part — as soft as baby blanket. I would definitely buy it again.

A really nice electric blanket until suddenly it wasn’t — big, silky, warm, cozy. But after three months it stopped working. Nothing I tried could get past the Error signal. Now I have a big silky useless piece of junk. I can’t say I wasn’t warned — other reviewers had the same experience. Update: the seller reached out to me with specific instructions for restarting my blanket, plus a refund offer if I couldn’t get it going. I was able to get the blanket working again, thanks to the assistance provided. Excellent customer service, and I’m glad to be able to use my blanket again… I really like it!

LOVE that that the power plug by your feet is way off to one side, not in the middle. Settings 1 to 12 hrs in 1/2 hr increments, I think 10 or 12 heat settings. On/off switch. Really pleased.

Do not purchase this item. It stopped working after just 5 months and the seller was unresponsive to my attempts to communicate and address the issue. The costumer service was awful.

Third try for electric blanket - they just don't make'm like they used to. This was the third from Amazon. The other two just got to warm or the cords were too short. This one the cords just reach and the heat is good. The material that the blanket is made with is very slippery. So staying in place on the bed appears to be challenging. I think that I will find a way to mitigate this. Hopefully it lasts until, and beyond, the five year warranty.

This was what kept us through cold weather. It's soft and gets warm fast.
