Safariland 6360 for G19
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Secure, Durable, and Fast – Ideal for Duty The Safariland 6360 ALS/SLS Mid-Ride Holster is a top-tier choice whether you're in law enforcement or a civilian looking for serious retention. The Level III retention system (ALS/SLS) locks your firearm in place, yet allows for a smooth, fast draw with training. The mid-ride position offers comfort for all-day wear, and the build is rock-solid. A trusted holster for open carry, range days, or professional duty use.

Awesome holster, great balance between speed, security and quality.
I bought this as my duty holster for my gen 4 Glock 19. The action to remove the SLS and ALS retention is VERY natural feeling. As you come down on the hood, you almost naturally push it forward to disengage (so that feels like one step, not two) and then as you bring your thumb back to establish your grip, the ALS button gets released almost second nature. I do find that the Serpa 3 draw is a little faster being that you can essentially release both retentions at the same time, but this holster just feels very smooth in the draw even if it is a few milliseconds slower. During qualifying, I noticed that a lot of other guys with rock out holsters were able to get their guns out faster than me (someone well practiced with a rock-out can draw seriously fast), however I seemed to be getting my shots off on target faster. I think this possibly could be due to the fact that the smooth, natural feeling draw of the holster allows you to establish your grip better right out of the holster and the straight up draw makes it easier to get the gun on target. Just my theory anyway. Although I feel like the Serpa 3 may be a better draw, the quality of this holster feels great and some of the features are really nice. The hood guard is a great feature and has never gotten in my way like I thought it would. The SLS hood and ALS seem like they'd be nearly impossible for someone to disengage whereas the serpa button like it could be accidentally disengaged by a grabby perp much easier. Overall, out of all of the holsters I have seen, I think this is the most secure you can find. Only disadvantages I have are 1) it does not come with an adjustable paddle, meaning it can't be canted without buying additional paddles. 2) it doesn't seem very easy to use this as a level 1 holster in a high threat time (meaning snap the hood forward if you feel like you may have to draw so you only need to use the ALS button). I say this because the ALS button is a little tricky to find unless you are snapping the hood forwards first. The hood almost guides you right to the ALS button, so trying to go right for the button without the hood up hasn't worked well for me...though I haven't practiced much. However, if you really thought you may have to draw, you'd likely be keeping your hand ON your weapon, in which case releasing the hood and keeping your finger on the ALS button would be very easy and make for a near instant draw. The ALS button is much harder to see/get to for second party than the Serpa's big side button, so if your first level of retention is off and somebody DOES try to take your weapon, I'd feel MUCH safer with the 6360. FYI I think the high rise paddle would make it a bit more comfortable in the car and easier to rest your arm on the gun while standing to secure your weapon, but i'm not sure how it would affect the draw.

Solid Duty Holster
I previously attempted to buy this holster off the Safariland website however I was told that it would take 45-60 days to ship. That’s ridiculous. So I checked amazon and luckily I found it. I’m happy to share that it arrived on time with 2 day shipping. Now, as for the holster. So far so good. I’m really liking this holster. I have not been able to test it in training however, it looks great and it holds a Glock 17 gen 3 in very securely. There is slight movement of the weapon while in the holster but for this to happen you have to pull pretty hard on the weapon. That being said the weapon will not extract out of the holster because of the ALS system. Also the weapon or holster does not make any noise or move when bounced around as if you were running. I purchased the STX basket weave model. This model is a hard shell outer surface which looks to be more durable and weather resistant in comparison to the synthetic leather look alike model. I also can say that the basket weave design closely resembles the basket weave design on my Bianchi accmold belt. It is not an exact match but it is extremely close. You cannot tell a difference without looking very close at the two side by side. Another thing I really like is that this holster has a soft material lining on the inside to help protect your weapons finish. This holster fits very securely on a 2.25” (58mm) belt. I can’t say how it would fit on a 2” belt. All in all I think this a very nice holster and I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect
Excellent with supreme versatility. Confirmed to fit G17 and all SCT-framed pistols (17, 19 and 43X). I had pics, but they were taken down. It might fit more models, but I haven’t confirmed.

Perfect and adaptable accessories can improve performance.
The cant is a bit forward adding the Safariland QLS 1-2 Quick Locking System Kit, will fix that issue, SAFARILAND Drop Flex Adapter with Single Strap Leg Shroud for Gun Holsters, may also be a good addition to the holster But It is Absolutely amazing takes a some effort to master but once you have it down to mussel memory it is as fast of a draw as if their was no retention mechanisms. With practice you really don’t need the added stuff however when carrying in a vehicle adding both keeps the gun out of the way when driving. It also allows quick swapping of weapons if you keep a different gun with a light for clearing rooms or tactical situations.

Good holster
Good holster except that leather cover on the holster wears after minor use.its almost completely torn off after 4 month of use. But it does hold retention.

Some conflicting opinions about this fitting the second generation M&P 9 (2.0) and it most certainly does. Been a safariland fan for a while and this is a great continuation of their well built products.

Genuine Safariland stuff but the model you get is the one on the last pictures. It's the one *Without the flashlight slot. Read carefully the description since the one you get is not the one on the first picture.
