Thought it would be bigger. Well made and keeps the gate closed in big wind.

We have a curious clever rescue kitty whom we did not want to escape from our screened porch and needed to replaced the hook and eye latch with something more secure and cat-proof. We bought two of this latches for top and bottom of screen door. The latches were solidly made and attractive. The latches were versatile in where the latch and slots parts could be placed as far as the frame versus the door depending on the door closure. The additional plate included was nice because we ended up needing it on the top latch to make it easier to open because the irregularity of our screen door. The latches are sturdy and easy for humans to use, but luckily too strong for the cat!

Really like this, easy and works really well with my barn door. I like that there is slight tension at every 90 degree to keep the locking mechanism upright or down or right angle when not in use. I like the extra bright white painted details but it’s not really glow in the dark. I do wish there was an added couple of plates for non flush door I had to find an extra wood trim cut and prep to my door molding part but all worked out in the end.

It has a nice design and feels sturdy when rotating the knob. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use it for my door because there is a gap between the door and wall. In order to have this set work you need to have the door very close to the wall. My barn door is installed on a board which causes a gap between the wall and the door. I still give it a 5 star because of the style and functionality.

High quality product with simple and beautiful design. I installed it in 90’ - left side outward opening door. I just used double sided 3M tapes which I had instead of screws that came with the product. It is functional and worked great for me.

Very pleased with this latch for our bathroom barn door...well built and unlike other similar products, this one has a larger contact surface between the latch/striker plate and can't be shaken or easily wedged open. One additional noteworthy feature is that this latch has detents which prevents accidental locking should the latch be left in the upright position. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a good quality and reasonable means for locking a barn door.
