Compact, Quiet, Easy. To Use and Great Results - Cosori Mini 2 .1 Fryer - update 04/18/25
I purchased the Cosori mini air fryer because of its small size. I decided on the Cosori because it’s probably the smallest overall size and I leave my fryer out on the counter. I have used the fryer first time to cook Trader J’s potatoes bell pepper and onion, the potatoes turned out great, onions slightly overcooked because they were cut too fine (delicate) - it will take a bit of learning curve as the air frying temp default is at 400 degrees and what you are cooking. For my first use, I’m happy with the results, it works well. One last thing, the instructions tell you to keep the back of the fryer 5 inches away from a wall as there is a air vent in back to allow proper air circulation, all fryers have similar requirements. There are a few 2 quart air fryers available on Amazon. You can search best mini/smallest air fryers or view a video by “Just a Dads Video” entitled Best Mini Air Fryer 2 Quart Comparison NINJA, INSTANT, COSORI, DASH Back To School. A good comparison of four mini fryers available and has 3 of the more popular brands in the review. The Basket Dimensions (D x W x H): 5.9 x 6.2 x 3.5 in, it’s small but great for single and couple…small but consider what you will be cooking….. UPDATE 09/08/24: I use with the factory settings for air frying, smaller pieces of food brown quickly, you can adjust if you have the same problem, I notice this when cooking frozen french fries. adjust trial by error method to obtain you preference, glad this unit has a adjustment for temp and time to get better results. Overall, am pleased with the performance and the 2 quart capacity. Recommend this product. 04/18/25 Update: I purchased the Cosori in June 2024,, I use the air fryer lightly and it’s performs perfectly as when purchased. Corsair recommends washing after each use, if you wash after each use, this will keep the unit from picking up odors from previously cooked foods and make cleaning easier rather than a deep cleans if left with old oil and food scraps and continue ing to cook next nights meal - it’s easy to clean and highly recommend regular washing, please use non-scratch blue pads, not the green backed sponge… there are people who don’t know how abrasive the green scrubbers are. I don’t know why, but some of my friends don’t wash their air fryers regularly. As I stated in my original review, I decided on the Cosori over the 2.0 quart Instapot because the overall footprint was smaller. This decision was proven out when I was able to purchase the Instapot 2.0 quart for $5 and had the opportunity to compare the two fryers. The Corsori is definitely smaller in size, refer to photo. Though these are both same size (Corsori 2.1 qt - Instapot 2.0 qt. The inside dimensions comparison: The Corsori is “smaller” (6.25 x 6.0 x 3.25 height with tray) to Instapot (6.75 x 6.75 x 2.5 height with tray), Cosori is smaller but taller than and this review update help you decide on what air fryer to purchase. Lastly, the control systems are different, with the Corsori you change temp and time by pressing a button, with the Instapot you rotate the knob to change temp and time, which is quicker to change. The video I referenced in my original review shows the tray falling out when turned over…. The tray stays in the basket via the silicon feet that comes the the unit…not clear why his video shows the tray so loose. Cleaning… search web for videos on cleaning, cleaning inside fryer heating coils and general area will keep fryer from picking up food / burnt on food odors.

Great small air fryer
This air fryer is exactly as advertised. It works well and quickly, clean up is super easy, and it beats heating up the oven for one or two servings of something like roasted vegetables. If you're looking for something that can make multiple servings at once, this isn't for you, but it's perfect for one or two people. So far I've used it mainly for roasting vegetables, for which it works quite well. I've also used it to bake frozen biscuits, to heat up and cook frozen fish, and to heat up and brown frozen samosas. With preheating, I'm done in under 20 minutes. It's taken a little trial and error to find the exact time and temperature I want to use for different items, but that's been easy enough to do. I want more information about cooking specific items than the brochure gives, but there are quite a few options on the internet if you're wondering about a particular item or recipe. Next experiment will be homemade goat cheese fritters. Clean up is simple: let it cool, put some hot soapy water in the basket with the grid, wash and rinse. The inner surfaces are non-stick so they clean quite easily. It can also go in the dishwasher but it's easier for me to just hand wash it and put it back in the air fryer. I've only used the air fryer mode and the bake mode. I haven't tried reheat or roast. It takes up a relatively small amount of counter space, which is important to me because my counter space is limited. It has a roughly 8" by 7.5" footprint. The cost was great, about $25. Safety issue: please note that you have to either put this where it has at least 5" air circulation on all sides and on top, or be able to pull it out to a position where it has that. I do the latter and then just push it back into its space on the back of the counter when I'm done. I also don't leave it plugged in when I'm not using it, but I don't believe that was in the safety instructions. It's just my preference. If you're looking for a small efficient air fryer, I highly recommend this one.

Very nice air fryer/combo!
- Max temps are different for different settings - This air fryer also has a roast, reheat, bake, broil and dry (dehydrate) function. - Has a pre-heat and shake function which are nice. It beeps a few times when it’s ready and says “Add food”. It beeps the same when it’s ready for you to shake. - Comes with 2 crisper plates for the baskets, for better airflow to crisp. Not necessary for every thing but nice for most items. - It’s not loud at all while cooking. Doesn’t smell very much either - Very easy to use after figuring out certain button combos - After reading the manual and doing the test run I made frozen potato skins and chicken fries and they turned out amazing. - Has a 2 year warranty - Comes with a nice recipe book - Super easy to clean, especially after it’s cooled down 10-30 mins or right after with a paper towel. - Love the light setting to see your food, it helps tremendously. You don’t have to open the air fryer to make sure it looks good. - Overall I’m glad we went with this instead of Ninja! - Sync finish and sync cook are nice setting options - And of course, cooks food perfectly and crispy in the air fryer setting and it takes half the time!

It is very much as advertised.
So far, so good. Only had it a week but after a lot of research we went with this one. BTW FYI our house has 15A circuit breakers, thus they can provide 1800 watts. This unit is stated as 1750 watts, thus it runs fine without popping the CB. I avoided other, higher-powered units for this very reason. If we had a 20amp circuit then we could go up to 2400 watts. But regardless, we can't run much else on our 15amp circuit while this machine is running. Especially things requiring higher wattages (e.g. a waffle maker). As far as cooking and controls, this one is fine and the manual and videos are fine and entirely adequate. I don't care about 10-in-one or X-in-one since those are just conveniences to set time and temperature (we can set anything we want, anyway). We do like the ability to turn on or off the preheat and "shake" functions. We've cooked chicken, fish, fries and banana bread. It's reasonably quiet. The unit has no smell of its own. Also, there are just 2 of us (no kids here now) so the size is fine. The drawers are long enough for a mini loaf pan or reasonable other pans (roughly 7x8"/each, interior size). We've only had it a week so can't speak to longer term values such as reliability or longevity.

I absolutely love the Cosori - NOVEMBER 2024 UPDATE
I loved this air fryer so much I used it several times a week to cook everything I could in it. I could cook full meals in it until it started grinding and squeaking so badly I couldn't leave it on. I guess it was the fans making the noise? I reached out to Cosori to see if there was something I could do to fix the noises and they not only responded immediately, they also sent me a new Air Fryer. After I gave them order information, model number and a video of the noise, a new air fryer was on the way to me. Pretty impressive customer service. I received my new Air Fryer within days, boxed up the squeaky one and returned it to Cosori with a pre-paid label and that was it. The new air fryer works perfectly and I hope to use it for many, many years. Thank you Cosori for your excellent and honorable Customer Service! That's rare these days. I wanted an air fryer because I wanted to be able to have a steak again. Three years ago I moved into an old condo that has a stove exhaust fan that doesn't exhaust anything and I found that out the first time I broiled a steak. For some reason, owning an air fryer was never on my radar until I saw a YouTuber using one to air fry a steak. Eureka! I can have steak again! I fixed my first steak last week since my first disaster three years ago and it was delicious. I broiled a steak in the Right drawer and a baked potato in the left drawer and they were both delicious. Cooked to perfection! I broiled the steak for 7 minutes on each side and was perfectly medium. The baked potato was baked at 400⁰ for 40 minutes and flipped half way through. It too was perfectly baked. So far I have cooked frozen shrimp, frozen fried chicken, tater tots, pizza rolls, hamburgers and my favorite thing... Roasted potatoes with chopped garlic and parmesan cheese - heaven on a plate. I have also reheated biscuits and pizza and that function is a dream compared to the microwave that turns any kind of bread into something rock hard. I like to be able to sink cooking two things at the same time and sync two things to finish at the same time. It's hard to believe it took me years to even consider buying an air fryer! And now absolutely love it and can enjoy an occasional steak again. The Cosori comes with a recipe book and an instruction book to show you how to use it. In the back of the book there's "notes" pages I use to write down everything I have air fried, at what temperature and for how long. And any other instructions for a particular recipe. That's a handy thing to have. I also really like the interior kight in each compartment so you can see the cooking process. The Corsori is also extremely easy to clean! While I eat, the two compartments are filled with soapy water and then they're just washed out. Nothing sticks to the surface. I highly recommend this Cosori! It's large. It's almost as large as my microwave, so make sure you have space for it.

Must have if you are cooking for one/two people.
I've owned this for 2 years and for me, it's perfect. The interface is simple and the size is just right. This might not work if you have a large family and need to make something for a large gathering. Single or meal for two is right up the alley for this little guy. Easy to clean, just remember, no harsh abrasives.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I purchased the Cosori CAF-LI211 Mini Air Fryer 2 months ago. So far, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! In fact, I am trying to remember what my life was like more than 2 months ago, before I owned this little Cosori. This size is perfect for one person. I cannot imagine it would be large enough for 2 persons, but it depends how much they eat, I guess. I have minimal counter space in my kitchen, so I don't have the space for anything larger. I have to store this Mini in the pantry and put it on the countertop to use, which is not a problem at all, it's very lightweight to move around, but it's not completely tiny, so does take up some space. It is VERY easy to clean. Sometimes all that's needed is to dump out any "crumbs" left behind, then wipe with a paper towel. Other times, just put the cooking basket in the sink, squirt a few drops of Dawn detergent in there, fill with hot water and swish around, then after a few minutes dump it out and rinse with hot water and either air dry or wipe dry with dish towel. Soooo easy. The non-stick surface of the cooking basket is wonderful. I use my Cosori mini at least once daily, but sometimes multiple times per day. Saying I LOVE it is an understatement!! Alot of what I cook in the Mini fryer can also be cooked in a countertop toaster oven - I have a Breville Smart Pro countertop Convection oven; however, as great as that Breville is, if what I want to eat fits inside the Cosori's cooking basket, I'll use the Cosori because there, food cooks faster than the Breville, turns out crispier and is less mess. And probably uses less energy too. (but I do love my Breville, too and couldn't live without it either!) I am attaching a few photos to show the types of things I like to cook in this Cosori mini. Nothing complicated. These are things that can be bought in any grocery store, already cut up and frozen, in bags or boxes. All these things turn out very well in the Cosori mini fryer. What's not pictured, but that I cook often, are brussel sprouts, french fries and single burger patties that come in a box or bag (personally, I eat only the plant-based stuff, but a real meat patty/burger could be cooked in it too) Before I ordered my Cosori mini, I did read ALL the reviews and saw that some folks had a problem with a piece of the cooking basket breaking off, therefore rendering the entire fryer unusable because the basket would no longer lock in place. This apparently happened to several people. I would be sick if this happened to mine, but, the Cosori has a 2-year warranty, so I'm keeping my purchase receipt and all records and I'll be *on* the manufacturer if this should happen to my Cosori. Being forewarned of this possible breakage, I handle the basket gently when pulling it out or inserting it back into the fryer. I do HIGHLY recommend this mini fryer, after using it every single day for 2 months straight.
