DVD player works well. Sound quality and video quality are excellent. The last memory feature is especially nice when you’re watching tv shows with multiple episodes on a disc in more than one session. I experienced an issue after 5 months with the DVD not working properly. Iegeek customer service responded quickly and sent me a brand new player no questions asked! Their response and action was above and beyond my expectations. I will certainly look for their products in the future. The replacement player is working fine.

I bought this because I do not watch tv. I wanted something practical but good quality. What I got was a very good quality dvd player with wonderful sound and clear picture with decent screen size. It is easily portable and lightweight. The screen rotation was a plus, because I didn’t realize it was a feature. It’s simple and to the point, and I have enjoyed movie after move. It sits well on a table or lap. Headphones can be used and it comes with a remote, but if you have it near by all of the remote controls are on the actual device. The controls are conveniently placed so as to not make it frustrating while watching a movie! I love this thing!

I absolutely love this dvd player. The picture is clear and quite beautiful. I am deaf in one ear and honestly hear everything clearly. The sound goes up to 20 I hear it perfectly on 13 to 15. If your dvd has closed caption you will get it on the this player. I'm 80 years old and have found it easy to use and haveno problem using it. I would buy this again and I recomment it to everyone who is looking for a good affordable dvd portable player.Update. After writing this review I had a problem playing my dvds but was very ill for months and couldn't notify customer service of my problem. Recently I emailed them what was happening and why I didn't notify them sooner.. They asked me to try a few things to see if they would fix the problem. They didn't. Customer Service replaced my player without any problem whatsoever and they were wonderful to work with. In my opinion this is a great dvd player. Picture is clear and beautiful. Sound is clear and loud enough to hear. If your dvd has closed caption this player will show it.I'm very happy with it.

The DVD Player is lightweight and the screen size is good, however since it is a region free DVD Player you have to go into settings and choose the TV Type first before playing a DVD otherwise the picture quality won't be great. For TV Type you can choose Auto, which means the player will decide based on the DVD you put in, but that doesn't necessarily work. You need to choose NTSC for TV Type for N. America and PAL for Europe, depending on the DVD you put in. If your DVD says Region 2, but the format says NTSC you should be able to use NTSC as the TV Type since it's a region free DVD Player. If most of your DVDs are from N. America or Europe than you should choose one of them as your TV Type. You may also have to adjust the brightness based on the DVD, which is also under setup to maybe a 3-5. You use the arrow keys on the remote to navigate the setup screen. Despite the DVD Player having swivel ability, viewing it from a side distance isn't as clear as viewing it from the front for some reason. It has been stated that you can watch at least 2-3 films before having to recharge the battery, we're not sure if this is true, but we did the setup and watched one DVD and the next time we put a DVD in the battery needed to be charged again, this may have been due to the fact that it only charged 6 hours the first time, which is what's recommended in the manual, but it apparently needs 7-8 hours.Update: Have had this DVD player for a while now and it needs to be charged more often than described. It doesn't seem to play two-three DVDs without needing to be charged again.

I like the picture quality, ease of use, and value of the portable DVD player. The picture and sound quality are high quality, and the screen is large enough to see easily. It's a great value for money. I am using it for my at- home exercise routine and I can see and hear it very clearly. It's just what I needed and I'm glad that I chose this particular DVD player.

I was already going to give this DVD player five stars. It’s very easy to figure out, it has a really good picture and sound. I would give it ten stars if I could. I lost a part of it ( there’s just no help for getting old ). The company is sending me the lost piece! Sooo nice!

I don’t particularly want to give up my dvd collection partly because you don’t really own the streaming products you buy. I rarely watch tv because I only really have time for entertainment when I’m doing things around the house. But I can take this with me from room to room and I tested out my 20 year old dvds and they worked perfectly. This with the charger/remote and my binder full of dvds fit snugly in a messenger bag and I can store it all on a shelf in my closet and easily take it wherever I want to go. The picture is pretty nice and the audio is plenty powerful for a small to medium size room. I’m delighted to have this!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:DVD technology is old school, so why did this product quit functioning after minimal usage? It quit working in less than a year, and it had been used very little. Don’t buy this!
