Chicory Root Syrup
Chicory Root Syrup is a fabulous product, as much as I love a good quality honey I would buy again (I have purchased this twice so far). The Syrup comes highly recommended by a dietician, an excellent substitute made from Chicory root. It's not to sweet, it has a thick consistency but easy to serve, buying the double pack is great value for money. I highly recommend this product for adults and especially for children. I absolutely love it.

Very subtle taste.
I purchased this as an alternative to honeyed that it was vegan and low in sugar. The product came extremely well packaged which was a bonus as the jars are glass. The taste is very subtle, you can't really taste it in tea though unless you put more in. It does taste great on cornflakes as it has a hint of taste just a little honey like taste. The syrup consistency is runny. As its made from chicory best not to have too much as it has a laxative effect. The product is good if you are wanting to reduce sugar intake and those looking for an alternative. Im not really sure the cost effectiveness for versatility as it would be very expensive. Purchasing 2 jars is a little cheaper. Overall a fair product as there is not much out there for natural sugar alternatives I would buy again.

Sweet, high fibre, low calorie syrup
Whether you are tracking your macros or eating whatever you want, this has become a kitchen staple for us. My husband and I are macro tracking atm so I will speak from this perspective… This has replaced any honey, maple syrup, stevia we used to use and here is why: - It is much lower calories (a tsp is 8.6 calories) - Very high fibre (to aid digestion - a tsp is 12% of my daily fibre targets) - It is the perfect natural sweetness without being too sweet or chemical tasting. - The taste is a cross between honey and maple syrup. It very light weight and delicious. Highly recommend, especially for those tracking macros and calories. I hope this review was helpful <3. Now let’s smash those health goals while having fun and eating delicious nutritious foods!!

A bit pointless
To me it's the most useless item i have in my cupboard,i don't mean that in a terrible way,but firstly,if you're diabetic or on a low carb diet, this is not a honey replacement,it looks similar and has a texture between that and syrup, but the only flavour you get is a very mild sugary taste,it's pointless for baking as it's so subtle, and there are 2gs of sugar per tablespoon,it adds nothing to a coffee, and it's so sticky it's unreal,it's worse than syrup,if you spill a little down the jar or on a worktop, you need to use a damp cloth, beacuse a piece of kitchen roll just smears it even more over a bigger area,if not for the sugar content it would be great as an adhesive,or for hanging wallpaper with!not the worst product butto compare it to honey is very midsleading,it is healthyish though, low sugar and carb and fat free, high in fibre, shame it' doesn't taste of much

Good sugar substitute - Keto friendly
This syrup has the perfect consistency for pancakes. If you wanna cut your sugar intake, I really suggest it. Is a NATURAL SYRUP, no chemicals and wierd tasting industrial sweeteners!! It's sweet but not owerpowering like the honey or sugar syrups. It's great in the Greek yogurt too. The consistency is between honey and maple syrup. Not too thick, not too liquid. One teaspoon was enough for me to sweeten 80gr of greek yogurt.

Good fibre boost
It's not very sweet, but low enough calories adding more doesn't harm too much. Got for the fibre more than anything. Used to make collagen marshmallows for added fibre and worked as well as using honey or an alternate liquid sweetener. Great price compare to h&b

Used to be good. Now is concerning
I really like the product - nicely sweet, but much higher in fibre and lower in sugar than other syrups. I have it every day in natural Greek yoghurt. The packaging used to be good, but the last two orders have leaked. Amazon immediately refunded the last order, and I’m going to request another refund for the latest order. It would be helpful if they packaged better, as what they’re using at the moment just doesn’t work. UPDATE: I’m now wondering whether the product, rather than the packaging, is the problem. I’ve had two orders where both jars leaked. But the jars didn’t look damaged in either order. The jars were a sticky mess, so I tried pouring the contents into a plastic bottle, to see whether any could be salvaged. Just pouring the syrup into a bottle created a large amount of foam - see photo. The syrup also smelt different from previous orders. I really don’t know what’s going on with it, but previous orders didn’t foam in the slightest. So rather than poor packaging, I wonder whether the syrup is foaming in transit, and bursting out of the jar. I’d eaten a bit of the syrup before it foamed quite so much - hopefully it isn’t harmful. Previously I would’ve given the product 5 stars. Now it’s totally unusable, so 1 star. Amazon have refunded me, though

Great product for low carb
I had no expectation that this would replace honey, estas most are made with high sugar and not natural. This is a game changer for our low carb lifestyle as it isn’t overly sweet but adds balance to many Asian dishes. Love it.
