Not made for long term use.
Worked great for the first year then stated shorting out with the monitor. Contacted support and for an Apple docking their only solution was to update the software with a windows pc. Did not offer to replace it. They suggested I purchase another. If you’re looking for long term usage this is NOT for you. You’ll get 12-18 mo out of it.

High pitched hum
Works okay for an year but now starts to hum a high pitch sound when connected. I am more sensitive but this is not bearable

this item does not work with 3 USB items plugged in. Unfortunately the quality is low, thus it causes lag with all of my USB devices. I wish i had known before i purchased. Now amazon will not return the manufacture can not help me. DO NOT BUY...
