Brandstand CubieBlue White - Charging Alarm Clock with Bluetooth Speaker Outlets and USB Ports

I purchased after attending a business meeting at Hyatt in Dallas. It’s the standard room alarm clock at their hotel. I was impressed by its size, appearance and ease of use. Very functional in allowing me to place on bedside table and plenty of charging ports. The wake up alarm is very effective yet doesn’t startle. Sound quality is good. It’s not a stereo speaker replacement and it doesn’t claim to be more than it is. Dimmer option is very nice since you’re given a few option to dim display or turn off completely.

I love this clock has two regular plug outlets and a plug for my iPhone cord and a usb outlet as well!! The alarm sound is a soft classical music sound that makes waking up not quite so annoying. although expensive for my budget it is worth all the options and features. Haven’t tried the Bluetooth option yet but sure I will be pleased.

I want my sleeping area to be pretty, uncluttered and tranquil. My nightstand was such a mess, I was searching for a way to get rid of my alarm clock-radio and replace it with an alarm clock with a decent Bluetooth speaker (I love to listen to podcasts or audiobooks before I fall asleep at night)I found the CubieBlue and had it on my wishlist for a few months but I didn't want a black clock, I wanted white to look nicer with my décor. When the CubieBlue became available in white I splurged and treated myself, a birthday gift for me. I just adore this thing and it was totally worth the price.It looks nice and allowed me to get rid of a larger alarm clock radio, a wireless Bluetooth speaker and 2 usb charging cables- this little guy does it all!It's super easy to set both the clock and the alarm. The Bluetooth always pairs easily with both of my Kindle Fire tablets and my laptop. The sound is very good for this kind of device, the volume is easily adjusted. I appreciate having a battery back-up for the alarm. And the alarm itself is perfect for me...it starts off very quiet and pleasant little beeping and only gets a wee bit louder if not turned off right away. I couldn't stand that my last alarm clock would get louder and louder to the point of shrieking.Now I can plug my tablet or phone into the Cubie to charge and I've been able to cut down on the cord jumble behind my nightstand. I like having the electrical outlets built in and have used this feature several times. It's a great place to plug in the vacuum or I can sit on my bed to use my hairdryer. I also love that the instructions for setting the clock and alarm are on the bottom of the unit.The only minor complaints I have are that the cord is a fat, heavy surge protector cord and it's not as flexible as I would like. I don't mind too much tho because I appreciate the surge protection for my electronic and it makes the extra electrical outlets possible. Secondly, I feel like the face of the clock itself could be better, it's quite bright even on the lowest setting as several have commented. It CAN be easily turned off but it doesn't bother me or keep me awake on low.I would definitely buy again or suggest to friends. This would make an excellent gift for teens, college students, older folks who can't bend down to plug things in, minimalists, etc. I'm super happy with this purchase ♥♥♥

Have owned my white Cubieblue for two years.Pros: Small with lots of functionality. Doesn’t take up a lot of space on nightstand. Multiple charging outlets. Attractive looking. Keeps good time. Sound is acceptable given its size; not recommended for listening purposes only.Cons: Cord is difficult because of thickness...similiar to heavy duty equipment cords. Cannot leave lit at night because the back light is much too bright and lights up the room...therefore, you cannot see the time in the dark.Lesson Learned: Should have purchased the BLACK model like we had used in a hotel. The back lights on the two different colored clocks are different. The black model can be dimmed enough to leave on at night so you can see the time. The white model cannot be dimmed enough to leave on, so you cannot see the time in the dark.

This alarm clock is the best I’ve ever had. I saw it at a hotel first and had to order it. This one has excellent speaker sound and the alarm is just such pleasant music. But this one!

This is great for an office desk. Its solid and well made, but the clock backlight cant be adjusted any lower for bedroom use. It lights up the entire room. I like being able to charge my ipad and phone at the same time, but, I have to keep the back light off...so no clock. Disappointed.

Easy clock to use & program. The plugs are a great feature to charge your phone, tablet and even kindle all at the same time. I first came across it in a boutique hotel in LA, and then found it on Amazon and ordered it the very next day. It's a bit unusual in that there are no directions included separately in the box- the instructions are printed on the top & underneath the clock. It's pretty easy to figure out but you should spend some time pressing buttons to adjust the light and clock so there are no surprises at 6am (the default alarm time). The plug from the clock to the wall is a bit thick and bulky so keep that in mind too in terms of placing it on your night stand.
