I use this in my oatmeal every morning. It is tasteless and mixes well, it is undetectable. I put the dry oatmeal in the bowl, then a scoop of collagen, a pinch of salt and a cup of water. I cook it in the microwave. Comes out perfect every time. I haven't used it in other ways and cannot comment on how well it would perform.

All the reviews I see on here are from older individuals. Here's my take on collagen for the younger masses. Background: 27, Male, Arthritis in hips, Active, Weight Lifter, Joint pains in knees and wrists. I'm looking for something besides fish,krill, or flax seed oils for join relief. Started taking on 01/23/2019: Week 1: I mix it with Milk, Chocolate Syrup, 1 Scoop. There are people claiming that you can not taste this stuff. I definitely beg to differ. There is a subtle taste of something chalky. Whatever you mix this in will definitely turn THICKER. The consistency would be compared to a thick motor oil. Very heavy. NO CLUMPS!!! The Collagen dissolved 100% in the drink. Super surprised. There are a lot of supplements I take that don't fully dissolve with a much smaller scoop. Effects: Week 1: No effects. The flavor got bearable during the week. I now take this first thing in the morning. Week 2: Beginning of the week (1/30/19) I live in New England and we have been having some crazy temperature fluctuation with temperatures going from -16 to 62. This normally would have my arthritis flaring. I have no flare ups and no pain. I'm walking perfectly fine. Effects Week 2: Definitely no pain from arthritis. Joints are feeling the same. I've lessened my weight lifts and switched to higher repetitions. There could be a correlation to less weights and letting my joints recover. I'll switch to higher weights again soon and see what happens. I will report back at the end of the month *UPDATE* 02/27/2019 Remodeled my bathroom over the last week. During the process, i felt that pain i used to feel in my wrist. The pain lasted exactly the rest of that day and when I woke up in the morning, it was a little stiff, but fine since then. I think this collagen has overall had a positive effect on me. I will continue taking it until I run out and maybe hop off of it and see if I notice any negative effects from not being on it. I will most likely be buying more in the future.

It's truly unflavored and mixes perfectly into my coffee or smoothies without any gritty texture. I feel a noticeable difference in my skin and joints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable collagen.

Collagen powders in general are pricey. Another brand I’ve used now for a year, has been creeping up in price lately. I decided to “bargain shop” to see what there was out there. This brand had good reviews and the price was right for the size canister (someone had mentioned the weight was not what the label said. And an answer from the manufacturer mentioned they had an issue with the label printer and instead of saying 21 ounces it said 24. Still a bargain) The product is a very fine powder. The canister has a scoop which is handy. Many have been eliminating them due to garbage waste. (I’ve saved a few for this very reason) I find I just need to handle the canister carefully or upon opening, a small cloud will poof out and it gets all over making the counter sticky when you use a wet cloth to clean up. Slow & gentle and you’ll be good. Also, when you scoop the powder do it slow because you’ll get another poof since the scoop is fairly deep and traps a small amount of air. I add a scoop to my morning coffee and it blends well with a stick blender (I use one to blend my coffee) It doesn’t clump at all. It doesn’t add any flavor either. Time will tell if this helps like the other brand. I’m very satisfied and will continue to repurchase as long as the price stays affordable for the amount. Another thing I like about this brand is it’s in a canister not a bag. If they offered refill bags in addition to canisters that would be helpful (I plan on saving a canister or two so I have one handy if/when I purchase a bag of collagen) I highly recommend this brand and will purchase again.

I really like this collagen, I have tried 2 others, giving them all a fair chance of 2-3+ months to really see how they worked for me. I just purchased my second container and it arrived sealed tight like the first. The powder is very fine all the way through, with the others there were small clumps as if the product had maybe taken on some moisture. I don’t notice a taste or change in flavor to my morning coffee, one of the other brands gave an aftertaste. It blends nicely in coffee, and I’m sure it would in other foods as well. And to y’all that find blending powder into liquids difficult... can we say frother! This is an amazing little kitchen tool that is inexpensive and just adds another simplicity to life 😉. It also gives you the coffee shop feel of a latte. The amount of collagen per serving is more than most, and the price point for quantity is much more than all I have tried, so double win there! As for the benefits, to each their own. My hair is lovely and thicker for sure, and the natural curls that were pretty much frizz or fluff after my two babes have returned and then some! My nails are stronger and grow faster as well. Don’t expect dragon lady nails lol. My skin is always better while taking collagen, but I don’t depend on it completely, your beauty health routine makes a big difference as well. I am a regular gym girl so my body gets sore sometimes, I can honestly say that after completing the first container my body is less stressed feeling, more often than not. That being said I would highly recommend this product, I plan to continue using it through at least 3 containers to really see how the benefits may continue and possibly additionally add to my body as a whole.
