Love our swiftpaws…but I was getting tired of picking up a million shreds of plastics bags from our yard every time we used it. Our dogs don’t like to let go after the catch the lure so they would shred the plastic bags leaving a ton of little pieces blowing in the wind which means I was chasing after them and evened up with gross pockets full of dirty and slobbery plastic shreds…Our dogs have a high prey drive anyway, so giving them even more motivation to chase the lure isn’t needed but I’m sure they enjoy it even more now.I was pleasantly surprised how easily these made it through the turnstiles- no issues there at all and now we have reusable lures that save me time and effort cleaning and reattaching every few minutes,while the pups have something even better to chase after!

We have set these up and used them twice so far with our border collie. Better than the plastic flags as our collie would shred those. He finds more interest in the critters and they run smoothly through the machine, would definitely recommend the add on.

My only issue with the product is the string that is at the nose/mouth of the flag is not well adhered to the animal and will easily be pulled off the track by a dog. You could take any other stuffless small toy and use instead by tying it with some twine and it would give the same effect.

These are big and fluffy and I wasn't even sure they would go threw the pulleys but they work great!! Our dog Loki is much happier chasing a toy instead of a plastic bag.

Dogs love them more

From my wife Sarah: We have a stick toy that we bought these to be tied onto, however our 10 month 23 pound puppy is enjoying them in a different way. We recently fenced in our back yard so he could run around free. We take him out to play and we use these, one at a time to play fetch with. I don't know if it's a resemblance to the animals represented or some other reason, but he loves these toys. We throw them (they don't go far because they're light), and he likes to capture them and then he chews them very gently so as to not tear them apart. When we go inside after playing we usually take it away to put it where he can't get it. They're not really meant for chewing and indoor play. However, he has been playfully protective of them and won't let us take it away. So we've been letting him keep whichever one we were playing with. He seems so excited with them. I don't know why he likes these so much, but he certainly does.

The animal flags didn't last one play time. Our pup loves the Swiftpaws device and gets plenty of exercise chasing the flags. Once "caught" the animal flags separate from the connection and become useless. The animal flags are truly a waste of money.
