Are these berries un-sulfured/preservative free?

The packaging lists the ingredients as: Natural barberries - nothing else is listed, so I would presume no Sulphur or preservatives are used.

What are the ingredients?

There is only one ingredient and that is barberries. Barberries are dried fruits. They an excellent taste of sour, that goes well with sweets like raisins in cooking.

Are these washed? If not, what is the best way to handle doing this since they are so small!

No they didn’t washed. The best way for wash in my opinion, they must soaked thoroughly in water at least 15 minutes and then use colander for get rid of the very small sands on it. I washed in this way two three times.
