I bought this to replace the laptop connector cable of my HP Thunderbolt dock, and this cable is perfect for that - the length is just enough to reach without a coil of extra wire on the desk, the connectors fit tightly, the right angle connector also helps keep the connector out of the way, and it delivers the speed promised, and of course power delivery works, too. (Well, it's good to at least Thunderbolt 3 speeds, since that's all my dock does...) What's not to like? Quality gear - Recommended.(P.S.: I've noticed a lot of cheap Chinese USB-C connectors fit loosely enough to be a source of problems - but this one engages solidly.)

It is what it says it is. I should have gotten a longer one, but that's my mistake.

I bought this cable to mount an external gaming hard drive to my MacBook Pro. It transfers at approximately 1gb per second. There is no difference between editing video on the MacBook’s internal hard drive or on the external hard drive thanks to this cable.

Does not charge my M1 macbook.
