Well made panels that are ready to paint. They have a versatile use as well. My wife is currently using some of these as frames for alcohol ink tile art she had done.

Not actually 6x6
I gave this a 4 star review because the items are not actually 6x6, they are 5 7/8 x 5 7/8. I will be able to use these for a project in the future, but was not able to complete a series that I started with a similar project that used actual 6x6 frames. An eighth of an inch doesn't seem like a lot but when they are lined up on the wall next to others it definitely looks off.

These wooden boxes were inexpensive and made really well! Finish was so smooth I didn’t even need to sand them before I painted or varnish them.

Used for art installation- worked great!
Good quality- painted them black and did various textured art designs on them with added gold flakes. Turned out excellent and will definitely use again!
