This mic set has gone far beyond my expectations. I got to to pair with a GoPro hero 13, with the media mod, to use for hockey on a goalie.Pros:1. The sound quality is excellent. It gets clipped under a chest protector. With all the movement, the voice and ambient noise is well balanced, crisp, and not muffled or scratchy at all. The microphone itself is set in slightly and I think this makes the difference.2. Sweat resistant. I can't say it's meant to be, but so far it's held up. It would probably be wise to protect it with a bit of plastic or something, but it didn't decease after sweat and moisture (and some water bottle spillage). It gets used for at least an hour at a time where it's exposed to this environment.3. Connectivity and set up is quick and easy and I have yet to have an issue with it skipping or losing connection. It is extremely quick to connect and has not suffered any interruptions. I have not tested longer distances than the length of an ice rink (200').4. Battery life & charging is excellent. It easily lasts several hours and charges to 100% fast.5. It has the option to select ambient noise cancellation, and it is actually a noticable difference.Cons:1. If I wanted a digital display, I should have bought one. I do wish this had one for battery and\or volume because you kind of have to guess. If the GoPro is on, I can see it picking up but I won't be able to know how loud it is until it's recorded if I touch a setting by mistake from the previous use.2. Not so much a con, but don't expect this to be anything except an in-sync recording. It will be part of the video, meaning, that the video will be recorded with audio and if that audio fails you do not have it separately on the device. This is in line with 99% of mics, though. And, again, I have not experienced an issue yet.3. Kitty doesn't stay on great. Again...a minor complaint. It also isn't meant to be used for sports! So if you want the little fluffy bit on it, just make sure you're not moving it much.4. This is my one legitimate qualm - the clip is...*ok*. The spring is not the best and, although it is good for typical use, I wish it was a little stronger because I'm not convinced it's not going to fall off. It's more like a chip clip than a clothespin in terms of tension (like...I wouldn't be scared to be dared to clip it to my nose haha!). Although it's technically appropriate for the size of the mic, I think I could've benefitted from about 1\4 inch more length and the smallest bit increased tension. In the meantime, a bit of hockey tape will be the comfort in not losing it!Overall, with use so far (a few months), I do recommend this product! The price is absolutely right for the product. Quality is above and beyond. Size is discrete. Works well. Connectivity is excellent. Great mic!

This set has been great for me and my wife. We record an audio journal, and this is so much better than having to pay a lot of money for a dual dynamic microphone setup.

It works very well! Sound quality is great. The thing I will say is it’s hard to travel with. When you wanna recorded something quickly you can’t, because you have to connect it, you have to make sure the receiver is connected to microphone and if it’s not then the footage isn’t good. So it can be hard to use if it’s on the go. If you use it for a sit down video it’s great.It works great with my Sony Zv-e10Works with my iPhone!

I bought this not expecting much, especially considering other name brand wireless lav mics were 4x the price, but was pleasantly surprised at how well these just work out of the box. While the carrying case is a tad large, it still fits in my pocket and allows for easy movement.The sound quality and connection are top-notch, I think I walked around 500 feet from the receiver, inside a house and down a flight of stairs and you could still hear me perfectly with the mic on my collar. I personally haven't had issues with clipping, and the clarity of the microphone is second to none in this price bracket.All in all, the Hollyland Lark M1's are the best wireless lav mics for under $100, and still punch way above their weight class. Their ease of use is second to none, turning on within seconds and connecting to the receiver even faster. I was able to use the mic in several different scenarios and every time it worked perfectly.10/10, would buy again.

I love, love, love this mic. Initially, it’s soft matte black exterior just feels superior. When I hear my playback from my recording it sounds very sharp & professional & that’s just without the fuzzy piece that goes on top. Adding that piece is a 10 out of 10 (but in my opinion not needed)!

The reason some people says the mic is useless is because not every phone or camera can read the external microphone. Mine is android. Do not recognize the USB mic. So, I download an app from app store. USB audio recorder 2. I play my camera and the USB mic at the same time. Then, you edit the video and use the mic sound recorded in the music line. I use photo play app for editing. Then you use the volume from the camera in the video to silence it. And leave the volume loud in the music line. That's the magic. Now my videos sound professional. Those who can't hear or think sound is low will need the apps because your device do not read USB sound.

Works well. In my experience there is sometimes not a great connection between transmitter and receiver. I reconnection usually solves this.
