You can shorten the chain and leave one loop, adjust the shortest to hang.

If you had more chain I guess you could.

Not included bulbs,this beaded light fixture used E12 bulbs,eight bulbs.

Q: Where are the directions?

We r missing several pieces to this lamp…very disappointed no ample directions My husband and I have spent 5 hours building and not enough pieces Please send me extra stings long and short Demanding some sort of money back for our hours of labor and stress…and then to find missing pieces
