Great product
Glaze products are awesome! This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased from them. The glace cherry is very pretty but does apply darker than shown which isn’t a problem since your color will fade. I applied it after washing my hair as a conditioner to my entire head; application was extremely easy and I was able to leave it on in the shower. I didn’t use gloves and it didn’t stain my shower, hands, body or face. The previous times I used one of the brown ones it did stain my bathroom but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the red didn’t! This is the perfect product if you are low maintenance and don’t want to have to spend a while applying dye. My hair loves it and feels healthy and soft.

No, No, No, No, 1000x No!
Do. NOT. Bother. With sooo many gloss products available, inc. your local drug store, Do Not Bother, Hassle, Frustrate yourself w/ this one. Here are your Reasons: 1) the Pump it comes with does Not work and that matters bc 2) Good Luck trying to squeeze this thick, gluey, smelly mess out of the rock hard bottle (see other reviews); you cannot and also, way to be thoughtless ableists: lots of people would not have the hand strength! 3) Even if you can get to the product, BEWARE: The instructions on the Bottle (apply to Dry or damp hair) are completely different than the ones on Amazon (see Above)--Fail. And, 4) there is Zero Shine that lasts longer than 24 hrs, Zero conditioning, barely any color (and Only Darker) plus the added nonsense of "only on Non-processed, colored," etc. hair! Hilarious bc as a Cali girl, I can count on one hand how many natural Blondes are in the Blonde Capital of the World. Again, soooo many glossing products options that will do what they say and then you won't also have the hassle of being out $20.- for the month it takes for Amazon to return your $$$ to you after you already schlepped it back for them! For FREE.

Soft, shiny hair that smells amazing!
I was honestly shocked by how much I loved this gloss! I have medium brown hair that tends to look dull and frizzy, but after just one use of this gloss, my hair looked so much healthier. It gave me a beautiful, cool-toned brunette finish with a mirror-like shine — like I had just walked out of a salon. It’s super easy to use (just like a hair mask!), smells amazing, and didn’t leave any weird residue. My hair felt soft and smooth for days. Plus, there was no mess or staining in the shower. It does stain your hands if you don’t wear gloves, but it washes off in the shower with soap. If your brunette color needs a boost or you just want your hair to look more vibrant and glossy, this is absolutely worth a try. I will be repurchasing!

Doesn’t last, but overall decent
It did the job considering the price point. For reference, I went to the salon and had a cowboy copper tone put on top of my previously lightened/blonde hair (stylist did fill my hair with a darker tone first) and after a few weeks it had faded mostly to a very light red and some pieces of my hair were mostly back to blonde. The pic of the side with me in green is my faded hair before using this. The after pic in the sun (ignore how yellow my face is lol, that foundation was supposed to be “cool toned”). The final pic is what i’m left with after 3 washes. So with this, I put it on dry hair, did half my head at a time and left on for probably about 30 minutes before rinsing out each side. Overall, I would use this again but a few things to consider: Cons: These other reviews are right, the packaging is awful when trying to get it out. I ended up putting it in a mixing bowl for easier access. The cherry glacé was a nice color, but I rinsed my full head that same night thinking it looked fine and the next morning it was obvious that it left some of my hair really, really pink/almost purple looking. Just rinsing with water wasn’t enough I guess. I ended up fully washing it that morning to remove some more and it finally was more like the comparison photo they included. So, cherry definitely has a pink undertone, keep that in mind. Also, now that’s it’s faded out it’s given my hair a grayish brown tone on some pieces, cherry glacé probably was too dark of an undertone for my previous hair. This is also only lasted 3 washes and I only wash my hair about once a week. I use a pH balanced/sulfate free shampoo and rinse in cool water. Pros: Smells really good, left my hair super soft. Didn’t need to condition after using and I have semi curly/wavy hair so it’s prone to frizzing without proper conditioning. This left my hair smooth. The color itself did look really nice. It goes on smoothly and was easy to saturate each strand/didn’t dry out while I was putting it on. It also definitely applied to my new growth/roots and made them blend with the rest of my hair which is hard to come by with similar products. Price is good. I used gloves and definitely got this on parts of my face and arms but it didn’t stain my skin or my shower (but did stain my sink so make sure to cover that). Would definitely use this again but I think I’ll try the copper tone this time around to see if that gives me more of the undertone I want when fading.

Wouldn’t use again
I wanted the impact of going red without the commitment, which lead me down the rabbit hole of color depositing hair masks. Honestly, I went with this one becuase of the price and convenience of ordering it on Amazon. I would recommend having a friend on stand by to help you out this in your hair; it’s super difficult to make sure it’s fully covered on your own. The design of the bottle also make it’s hard to squeeze without an extra set of hands. I have very fine, but dense hair and my partner and I spent over an hour making sure it was fully saturated, section by section. In the first picture you will see natural, virgin hair - dirty blonde with some natural low & highlights. The color looked good as I let it sit for 20 minutes and I was getting excited, but when I rinsed it out I was so disappointed there wasn’t much color pay off. So I tried again. And then again. After 3 times, I was content with the way the color turned out (picture 2) but then I went out into the sun 😳. Natural light made it glaring obvious where the color didn’t take and made it look like a bad, patchy dye job. I wore my hair up whenever I was outside but I suppose the silver lining is that, when indoors (where I spend 99% of my time) my hair looked fine - Good, even! After all 3 applications, I ended up using the entire bottle on my collar bone length hair trying to even the color out, but no luck (3rd picture). At this point, I accepted it for what it was and figured it would wash out eventually so no worries. It has been 2 weeks since my initial application and I have washed my hair probably 4 times, but shampoo twice each shower to speed up the fading process. The problem is, though, the color has almost complete washed out of my roots and baby hairs, but is staying pretty saturated on the ends. I know the company does warn of staining on light blonde hair, and I do have some naturally lighter pieces, so I took that risk when I applied it. but It seems to have washed off of the lightest parts and is clinging to the rest? it looks bizarre to have blonde roots and red ends. I think the intended use of this product is to refresh hair that is already that color, not offer drastic color changes. I also didn’t really notice my hair being any softer (in fact, I lost ALOT of hair in the “dying” process but I can’t 100% say it’s because of this product). TL;DR I wouldn’t recommend using this to drastically change your hair color b/c the bottle design is hard to use, the color didn’t apply uniformly, and it doesn’t fade/wash out evenly.

Magic! Worked perfectly to tone down brighter than preferred highlights. Perfect.
This worked exactly as I was hoping. I get regular highlights and for some reason after my most recent visit (same stylist for 4 years) my highlights looked less than stellar, very very light in contrast to my base (medium warm blond) and a little yellow. Which also accentuated some not great alignment in the highlights. It was way more obvious to me after getting home and doing a wash and style myself. Unfortunately it was also a Friday and I did not have time to get back in to my stylist for a fix ahead of a work trip the following week. I first tried a long sit using Davine's purple conditioner which I've never really had great results with previously but had a tub so figured why not? No dice. I then started looking at toner options (thinking back on the service I think we missed this step after the color which would explain the yellow ultra bright highlighs versus my regular neutral light blond strands). I looked through lots of products and reviews and found a review for another product (Hue) that mentioned Glaze as giving better results without any of the brassiness some people experienced with the other brand. I was even more surprised when they said Honey Blonde gave them great results - I would have avoided it thinking it would end up giving me a gold vibe which with the yellow highlights I did not want. Much to my surprise this worked perfectly! I applied it to a test strip of my hair first, just to make sure at worst it didn't turn my hair orange or even more yellow. The test strip looked like pretty good results, no orange, and from the small sample it looked like it slightly darkened and toned down the highlight without any weird impact to my base color. I then applied the product all over on dry hair and let it sit for 10 minutes and rinsed. It did exactly as I hoped...even better. I somehow ended up with this beautiful medium nuetral blonde with subtle highlights that blends together perfectly. I'm really so astonished and happy with this product. One caveat is this was one application and I haven't washed yet. So fingers crossed it stays for a few washes. Great product!!

Not a great product.
I really wanted to like these. First off, this glaze color darkens your hair tremendously. I wasn't prepared for that. It also stains any light colored colored towels. I was super careful to rinse my hair until the water ran clear. I've been dying my hair since I was a teenager so I'm very careful about getting all the color out when rinsing but this stuff was still staining my towels after 3 additional washes. It is a pretty color but, not really worth the mess. Not the shine that I expected. Won't buy again.
