This product is well made, sturdy lightweight but strong. Well balanced and easy to pack up and travel with. User friendly for sure . Great value for the price . So versatile for lighting set ups . Will be buying another .

Awesome tripod with a boom. I use a gimbal camera on it and it is used to record football games. It goes up very high and is extremely stable. Although I still sandbag the legs to ensure it does not follow over.

I've had two of these for several months now, using them very lightly. So far they are working perfectly. The legs open and close very smoothly. The sections are air-dampened to prevent sudden collapsing and continue to function perfectly. A very well made product at a price much more affordable than the domestically produced equivalents (regrettably).

Did the job I needed and holds the equipment I put on it - premium feels

Smallrig makes amazing stuff and I have a ton of their rigging and lighting equipment. They usually make top shelf quality stuff at an unbelievable price that forces the entire industry to adapt. These stands are OK. Probably the best quality for the price on Amazon. But it's weird to me how light stands haven't come down in price and up in quality like tripods or lights have. Monfrotto is charging hundreds of dollars for a similar stand, but considering small rig's other stuff, I feel like these could easily be in the 50 dollar price range. They aren't amazingly well built or anything. They feel like they are barely enough...but that's how I feel about most light stands under $300. Anyway, good stand, I'm not going to buy anything else, so I guess there's that. But I don't feel awesome about it either unlike everything else Smallrig.

Ho recentemente acquistato il supporto per luce in alluminio SMALLRIG da 110”/280 cm e sono rimasto notevolmente soddisfatto del prodotto. Dopo averlo usato per diversi set fotografici, ecco le mie impressioni: Il supporto è realizzato in alluminio di alta qualità, che non solo garantisce leggerezza ma anche una robustezza notevole. Anche sotto il peso di luci più pesanti, il supporto rimane stabile senza alcun segno di flessione, basta aggiungerci dei pesi alla base. L’altezza massima di 280 cm è più che sufficiente per la maggior parte delle esigenze di illuminazione, rendendolo estremamente versatile sia in studio che in location esterne. Il meccanismo di regolazione è fluido e permette un posizionamento preciso e sicuro della luce. Nonostante la sua robustezza, il supporto è sorprendentemente leggero. È facile da trasportare. I piedi del treppiede sono ampi e ben bilanciati, fornendo una base solida su diversi tipi di superficie. Questo è particolarmente utile in ambienti esterni dove il terreno può non essere completamente piano. Il supporto per luce SMALLRIG è un eccellente investimento per chi cerca un prodotto affidabile e durevole. Sturdy, well made and the slow-collapse is a lovely feature, I can loosen the joints with the light still on top & not worry about it smashing down. Smallrig nails it again!

The stand was exactly as described. Used it to support an over head strobe light with an umbrella soft box. The stand was very sturdy through the shoot. And I was pleasantly surprised on how well it was constructed.
