The quality is surprisingly good for the price point, and it’s the first bag I’ve ever found that has storage options that actually work well for organizing various notions/tools - everything from crochet hooks to circular and straight knitting needles to various small things like stitch marker and darning needle cases. It has grommets for passing yarn through if that’s your thing (I don’t like those) and lots of internal and external pockets. There is even a somewhat hidden zipper pocket on the back that is excellent for holding my kindle while not bothering my back because the pocket is padded. The capacity is excellent as well. I included photos of what I put in it. There are 10 balls of yarn for my next project as well as my nearly finished current project that includes what is a nearly finished 15” x 68” wrap plus the remaining ball of yarn that will complete it. All that fits with room to spare. I bet it would handle sweaters and small blankets easily. And! It’s easy to access all that thanks to the large opening that’s held open with a hinged frame. The only thing I can really find to complain about is that the handles are too long.

If you're on the fence, get off and get this bag! Spacious (could go a bit bigger IMHO). and thoughtfully designed. It keeps your project clean. Your hooks, needles and notions in one place. The side bag grommets for threading the yarn. The backpack strap length could go a little longer. I only had one zipper that sticks a bit so I'm careful. Very sturdy. Large side pockets with elastic to secure a small wallet and your smart phone. Several inside pockets and elastics for securing your projects and tools. Happy crafting!

This is my all-time favorite bag. I use it to store my pens and it's become my every-day work bag. I am a crafter, so I love being able to stash my yarn and hooks in it when I'm on a train or plane ride. it's great quality, and has more pockets and places to stash things than I know what to do with! I feel organized and put-together. It's durable, heavy-duty but light-weight at the same time. Highly recommend!

I've used this daily for quite a few months now and it has held up extremely well. It holds approximately 4 books, a bag of chips, two balls of yarn, 2 tall red bulls, and all the hooks and needles you can imagine. I LOVE this bag. Definitely one of my better purchases. I've machined washed it a few times now and there is no fading or rips or tears. I just let it air dry, so can't say anything about that. The material is very thick and durable, the zippers have held up and I have definitely overfilled this bag. Definitely worth the money!

I'm new to crochet, so this is my first bag. I did a lot of research before settling on this one. I must say, the positive reviews were spot on about this bag. There are TONS of pockets that are great to keep things organized and it's oh so roomy! The quality is fantastic and it's such a good price for an amazing bag!

6-month review: this bag has held up extremely well after 6-months of consistent daily use and one international trip later! My original critiques about the size still hold up, and I am considering purchasing the 17.3” version of this bag to see if the additional space will help with the slightly limited vertical space once zipped closed. Otherwise am still extremely happy with the functionality of this bag!! I use it almost every day. Original review: This bag is very good, but still has a few flaws. What I like about this bag: -Nice variety of pocket sizes and locations. The front pocket for hooks/needles has a great amount of sections to hold a range of hook sizes and other accessories. There is one larger external pocket that is *barely* large enough to fit my iPad (9th gen), but does require some finagling and squeezing to get it to fit. Two large side pockets for water bottles that are very secure. I can fit two small water bottles or one large bottle in each side pocket. The back security pocket is good for passports or other items that need extra protection for travel. Main compartment has 6 smaller pockets that are large enough to fit a 5oz skein in each comfortably, several small cakes, or a large amount of bobbins without getting tangled. Even after filling each yarn pocket, there’s still enough space to fit one large WIP like a blanket, or a couple small WIPs/personal items. -The quality is surprisingly good for the price point. The pocket zippers seem to be pretty solid, and the material doesn’t feel cheap. The straps are nice quality too, and the back is breathable. -I like that it can be used either as a backpack, or as a shoulder bag with the straps on top. Also love the added strap that secures it to luggage for traveling! What I don’t like about the bag: -My main complaint is that I wish the larger external pocket was just slightly larger so an iPad could fit a bit easier, or there was an extra zippered pocket on the inside that is large enough to fit an iPad or laptop. The front pocket is quite a tight squeeze, and once my iPad is in the pocket, it makes the front part of the bag much more tight. -I wish there was at least one small mesh/clear zippered pocket in the front compartment of the bag to put small accessories like stitch markers, darning needles, etc. Currently, they would just be in a loose pocket and could potentially get lost, so I wish there was a more secure place to keep small accessories. -The vertical space is a bit smaller than anticipated once the bag is fully filled and closed. This also makes wearing the bag slightly awkward because of how short it is. This also limits the amount of extra space in the bag for personal items like a purse. -The small pocket for a charging bank is oddly positioned. Due to the placement and size of the zipper, it makes it difficult to fit certain charging banks inside. One of my banks is the size of my phone, and it does not fit inside, while the other is about the size of a pack of gum and does fit. -I wish the shoulder straps were slightly wider, but that is a minor complaint. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase! Given the price point, the quality and size of the bag is great for my needs, and is perfect for transporting and organizing yarn. I might still return it for the slightly larger size, but it’s great for what it is.

Generally good bag. Zipper sometimes needs adjusting to work but on the whole great purchase.

I love this bag, I have used it for months, for all my crochet needs. It still looks the same after a great amount of use and travel, great quality.
