I use these at the bottom of my guinea pig homes, and use guinea pig pee pads dotted around for comfort. It is very easy to brush off hay, and very easy to wash. But add more bedding for the comfort of your little guys

Good item fits

Fits the midwest cage really well. It works better then just normal fleece and I like that the backing of it is waterproof. It's much easier to deal with then sawdust, but it does require washing quite often. I bought two so when one is air drying the other is in use. So far no complaints. Have only washed them a couple of times so not sure on the longevity of the item as yet.

Absolutely impossible to get clean. Hay and sawdust just sticks to them got as much off as possible popped them in the washer blocked the washing machine and there was still stuff stuck to them. AVOID!

Bought for my Guinea pigs. Absorbs and holds urine but doesn’t leave a dry surface. Nightmare to remove hay before machine washing, as hay penetrates the fibres like splinters and doesn’t want to budge. Probably more suitable for dogs or animals that do not require hay, but I guess would have same issue with hair not wanting to budge. If you want to buy this I would suggest getting a fleece to layer over the top. Otherwise well made. It’s a shame but It doesn’t work well for Guinea pigs, as hay for them is a must and it’s just too difficult to clean

I wouldn't purchase. Wee had seeped through to the underneath. Doesn't really absorb the smell at all. Hay sticks to it too so it doesn't clean very well
