Great taste, price and now time for a coffee

Ok so I bought these because they were cheap and I get through a lot when working from home. I immediately regretted my purchase as at least 8 out of the first 10 capsules used ended up mega compressed in the machine and nearly no coffee came out. There seems to be some issue with the size perhaps (need to check) but solution is to use something to carefully poke a small hole in the non-foil end of the aluminium capsule, bang in the middle. I use a skewer and just leave it next to the machine. Every capsule works perfectly after you give it a little hole. 4 stars because I have to punch it each time. Hopefully Carte Noir can fix it as I don't have the problem with any other capsules.

Good strong flavoured coffee. So easy having this in pods and good value for money in this multipack. Certainly lasted a while in our office.

We recently purchased a pack of 60 Carte Noire Espresso Lungo Nespresso Compatible Aluminium Capsules for our Nespresso machine, hoping for a convenient and flavorful coffee experience. However, our experience with these capsules has been quite disappointing. While the flavor of the coffee is ok, we encountered significant issues with the capsules themselves. Unfortunately, they do not work well with our Nespresso machine. At times, the capsules fail to filter the coffee through entirely, resulting in a frustrating lack of coffee extraction. On other occasions, the coffee only trickles out slowly, leading to prolonged brewing times and less-than-ideal coffee quality. Overall, the inconsistent performance of these capsules has left us dissatisfied, and we have no intention of purchasing them again. They may work well for others, but for us this time it was a no.
