I had been on the pill for 14 years I stopped, 6 months later I started getting incredibly painful nerve pains all down my forearms, I thought I had overworked them at the gym etc but this was something different. It didn't go away it i started getting pins and needles all down my arms, sharp pains, it would affect my everyday life and my sleep. I looked up everything under the sun, tried physio, chiro, acupuncture but nothing worked. After a while I started to look into hormones and I suspected I had an imbalance in my hormones - not enough estrogen, as apparently this has an anti inflammatory effect in your body. Anyway I had been recommended primrose oil for balancing out hormones so I thought maybe I will just give it a go and see if it works? no harm!
